What are the best essential oils for men?

Though every person has their own individual preferences, in general men tend to lean towards oils that have woody, earthy, minty, or citrussy aromas. Here’s a list of manly essential oils to get you started:

  • Shutran® is a seductive blend of Cedarwood, Black Spruce, and Lemon. Its woody aroma is perfectly bold yet clean, making it one of our top-selling blends.
  • Vetiver has a smoky, earthy aroma that is both sensual and exotic. This oil dates back to ancient times and can frequently be found in colognes and soaps enjoyed by men.
  • Copaiba’s warm and balsamic aroma will have you transported to the riverbanks of the Amazon rainforest. This calming scent also boasts numerous skin care and hair care benefits.
  • Cedarwood offers a smoky and woody aroma. Its soothing and relaxing fragrance is extensively used in perfumery but can also be added to your favourite lotions for a nourishing boost. YL Tip: Cedarwood may cause photosensitive reactions. Avoid direct sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying product.
  • Peppermint essential oil boasts a minty fresh aroma that is energising and uplifting, making it the ultimate pick-me-up for men who need a burst of midday motivation.
  • Bergamot is often described as sunlight in a bottle. This zesty, fresh oil offers a balancing and uplifting aroma that can be added to shampoo or body wash for a fruity, cleansing infusion.
  • Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood^ has a sweet, woody aroma that’s warm and sultry. This versatile oil can be used as a base note when creating charming custom fragrances.
