Omega 3 fatty are polyunsaturated fatty acids that cannot be synthesized by human body and must be obtained from diet. It contains EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and ALA (alpha-linolenic acid).
All unsaturated fatty acids play important roles in human health:
- DHA is the richest omega-3 fatty acid in the brain, which helps maintain normal vision and brain function, and helps improve learning ability and concentration.
- EPA helps promote healthy blood circulation and normal heart function and helps improve mood.
