Young Living Sponsors Bike Event for Mental Health

SALT LAKE CITY—July 2, 2013—Young Living, the World Leader in Essential Oils®, recently hosted the NAMI Bikes Utah: GLMR event. The annual bike ride, which was held on July 27, promotes awareness of mental illness and suicide prevention.

Professional cyclist Chase Pinkham and more than 150 other cyclists gathered at Young Living’s warehouse in Spanish Fork, Utah, to ride through pristine countryside and Young Living’s lavender farm in Mona.

“Young living is a company that promotes healthy lifestyles. We feel grateful for the opportunity to support not just the cycling community but, more importantly, a great cause with NAMI,” says Travis Ogden, chief operating officer. “Their focus on helping others, providing hope, and healing families complements Young Living's mission nicely, and we feel fortunate to have been able to participate in this event with NAMI.”

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the largest grassroots mental health organization in the country, dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. To learn more about the organization and bike ride, click here.*
