The Viya Travel Diffuser was designed in the United States and is manufactured in China.

We recommend using tap, spring, or still mineral water.

Yes, soft water is appropriate for use with the Viya Travel Diffuser.

The diffused molecules cover approximately 15 square meters or 160 square feet. Please be aware that coverage may also vary with the number of oil drops used or other variables such as length of diffusion, air humidity, etc.

The frequency for the diffuser is 3 million waves per second.

The diffuser holds approximately 37 milliliters, which is about 1/6 of a cup of water. Intermittent diffusion mode will run for up to 5 hours.

The diffuser is made of polypropylene (PP) plastic and molded resin and is safe for use with essential oils.

The Viya Travel Diffuser offers 3 muted color options. The light can also run independently from diffusion modes or be turned off while diffusing.

When switched on, the diffuser does not operate. (Potential issues: Power connection, Water above water fill line marker)

• Check that the adaptor is securely plugged into the USB port and the diffuser.

• Check that water is in the reservoir and it is not above the water fill line marker. If there is too much water, unplug the unit and adjust the water so that it does not exceed the maximum water level line (MAX) and restart.

There is no mist or a lower amount of mist than usual. (Potential issues: Water above maximum water level line, Oil buildup on the ultrasonic plate, Ultrasonic plate has stopped working, Fan vents are obstructed, or Fan is not working)

• Unplug the diffuser before performing the following procedures.

• Check the water level. If the water is above the maximum water level line, carefully pour out the excess water from the opposite side of the base ventilation hole.

• With lid in place, verify that the mist spout hole on the lid is clear and free from any debris.

• Check for essential oil buildup on the ultrasonic plate. If oil buildup is present, follow the cleaning instructions. The ultrasonic plate must be free of residual oil buildup for the diffuser to operate properly.

• Check that the diffuser has been placed on a firm, level, and stable surface.

• Check that the fan intake under the diffuser is free of any obstruction or debris that may restrict air flow. (After unit is on, you should hear the fan.)

• Refill the diffuser water reservoir to the fill line and restart. If necessary, remove the lid while the diffuser is on and verify that the water is bubbling. If the water is bubbling, the ultrasonic plate is working. If the water is not bubbling, the ultrasonic plate may be damaged.

The lights do not work. (Potential issues: Power connection)

• Touch the light button to verify that the light is functioning. While the unit is on, if you continue to touch the light button, you should be able to change the light colors. If the light does not work, call Young Living Member Services for further instructions.

When switched on, the light flashes once and then turns off. (Potential issue: No water in diffuser)

• The unit is not registering any water in the diffuser. Check that water is in the reservoir and is not above the maximum water fill line marker. If there is too much water, unplug the diffuser and adjust the water to the water fill line marker and restart.

The diffuser will automatically stop diffusing and the fan will shut off when the water reservoir is empty.

Always turn off and unplug the diffuser prior to cleaning. To ensure proper performance, clean the ultrasonic plate and lid after each use. If essential oil begins to build up on the ultrasonic plate, gently wipe it off using a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. If essential oil begins to build up on the lid, gently wipe it off using mild soap and water only. Never use a corrosive detergent to clean the ultrasonic plate, or damage will occur. Periodically check under the diffuser to keep the fan intake free of debris. Debris can be removed by blowing on the fan intake opening or wiping with a clean, dry cloth. (Do not use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives to clean the plastic housing.) When not in use, clean the diffuser and store dry. Replacement ultrasonic plates can be purchased from Young Living.

Young Living international offices may choose to offer it on a market-by-market basis.
