Essential Oils of the Pacific

#YLPHonCNN

Essential Oils of the Pacific is a brand-new six-part documentary series created by Young Living and CNN Philippines. This series tackles some of the most difficult ethical challenges Young Living is committed to meeting—challenges like providing affordable essential oils and products while still ensuring fair wages for laborers in the Philippines, Taiwan, Australia, and Hawaii; and meeting demand without destroying delicate and unique ecosystems across the Pacific.
See how we take these problems head on and ensure that our farming practices stand out from the competition. And find out how we maintain fair conditions and protect the land that produces the oils at the heart of all we do.

Finale Episode: December 7

Owner of Happy Pili Tree Farm, Rosalina Tan, has dedicated her life to helping those in need. While evaluating Pili trees outside of Naga City she happened upon a school that had been recently damaged by a Typhoon. She immediately got to work to restore the school and bring hope to the students.
Situated in a far-flung, remote location, the school that caters to the children of local farmers and laborers, once receive little to no external support. With very limited funds, the school built their own makeshift classrooms made of wood and iron sheets after it has been damaged by typhoons and calamities. Children in slippers once walked hours through rivers and rice field paddies come to a school with no ceilings, broken windows and cracked walls.
In Young Living, we believe wellness and education can transform communities and support long-term change.
