NingXia Red® Jellies Recipe

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Combine the NingXia Red, agar agar powder, and honey in a saucepan. Mix with a metal spoon until fully dissolved and heat on medium-high.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat immediately and stir in the essential oils. Taste for sweetness. The mixture should be almost too sweet, since the flavors will mellow during cooling.
  3. Pour the mixture into silicon molds.
  4. Let your molds cool in the refrigerator for at least an hour until set.
  5. Keep leftovers in the fridge or a cool place.
  6. Enjoy!

Excited about making these for my grandkids this summer for our daily excursions!😊

  • Stephanie Fitzpatrick

Can you just pour these into small cups, like making “jello”?

  • Rachel

Just made these with Citrus Fresh Vitality. Our three young children love them! They’re definitely more of a “jellies’ consistency than a “gummy” consistency that most people are probably thinking. However, we have to hide them or else the kids would eat them all in one sitting so I’m guessing they don’t care about the texture!

My grandson loves gummies and I am trying to make my own for him, I have even found natural food coloring for them. Great idea with NingXia Red. More benefits and I love knowing exactly what is in these gummie treats.

Love this idea! Do these gummies have to be refrigerated? Also, how long are they good for after making them?

    • Hi Beatrice, Yes, we would recommend refrigerating the jellies and eating them within a week of making them. Thanks for stopping by with your questions.
