Do you add the wood floor cleaner recipe to water? Seems like there is something missing in the recipe.
Hi Annette, thanks for your question! If you wish, you may dilute with a bucket of water for a less concentrated cleaner to tackle larger areas, or apply this mixture as-is with a damp mop as needed. You may also combine with water in a spray bottle to mist over the floor and mop dry. We recommend always spot testing in a small inconspicuous spot before cleaning the entire floor.
Just a tip. My daughter used a similar recipe for "laminate flooring" and the olive oil just sat on top! This is for a real wood floor, where the oil will soak in. You live and learn!!
We have laminate flooring and love the glass cleaner recipe to clean it.
Thank you for the recipes. Thieves smells really good as well! When dealing with the stain, work your way into the stain as well.
We have engineered hardwood. I use Thieves cleaner (2 capfuls in a spray bottle). Spray it on a dampened microfiber mop .
Is the thrives oil in cleaning around the house, is it safe to use , with pets around.
Thanks
