Let’s celebrate your Silver success in Croatia! From June 10 – June 13, 2022 new Silver Retreat qualifiers will gather in Šibenik to learn from and meet with other high-achieving leaders, Young Living employees and executives, and new-found friends!

Join us in Šibenik, Croatia, from June 10 - June 13 2022, to meet and connect with other high-achieving leaders, Young Living employees and executives, and new-found friends!

Young Living will cover the cost of your stay, including hotel accommodations, certain retreat meals, branded retreat swag, retreat activities, ground transportation for retreat activities during the event, as well as your plane ticket. Incidental costs, such as meals during travel, airline baggage fees, etc., will be covered at the attendee’s expense.*

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifiers may invite one qualified* guest to attend for a €500 fee which includes: hotel accommodations, certain retreat meals, branded retreat swag, retreat activities, and ground transportation for retreat activities during the event. In addition to the €500 attendee price, we have allowed qualifiers and their guests to book flights together, you must ensure you have paid both the guest fee and guest flight fee before booking both flights.

*Qualified guests must be at least 18 years old to attend. Guests who have a recognised rank lower than Gold may not attend training meetings at the event.

EXTENDED STAY AND CHILDREN

Young Living is a family company, and as such, we understand you may want to bring your children with you to the retreat. Please note that while this is allowed, Young Living will not provide activities, meals, housing, transportation, or daycare for children. Nursing infants are welcome to attend. Please note that any family room surcharges will need to be paid on arrival to the hotel. You will have the option to extend your stay based on availability, should you wish to do so please click here where you will be directed to the hotel booking page.

FLIGHT BOOKING

Due to the complexity and risks of booking flights during the pandemic, all registrants will be required to book their flights through our travel partners at Egencia. Please click here to book your flight, if you have paid and registered to bring a guest, you may also book their flight at the same time When booking flights please plan to arrive no later than 3p.m. on June 10 for registration and a welcome dinner—and to depart on June 13.

SILVER RETREAT INFORMATION AND GUIDELINES

  • Translation services will be provided at the retreat based on attendee needs.
  • If Brand Parters qualify for two or more recognition retreats for different ranks in one year, they will be invited to attend each retreat for which they qualified.
  • Brand Partners must be active and in good standing with Young Living to attend the recognition retreat.
  • Retreat attendance is non-transferable and not redeemable for monetary or other compensation.
  • Any branded gear given to qualifiers is available only to those who attend the event.

COVID-19 travel requirements
  • Travel restrictions and requirements due to COVID-19 change frequently and vary based on the country you will be travelling from. We will make every effort to communicate any information we know about the travel restrictions, requirements, and documentation required due to COVID-19 as we get closer to the dates of travel.
  • If you would like to attend but are worried about the ability to do so based on government limitations in travel, we encourage you to register, and will cancel your registration should there still be restrictions in place prohibiting travel in the few weeks leading up to the event.
  • Attendees will be expected to comply with any governmental restrictions and requirements. If you are uncomfortable with any restriction or requirement, we encourage you to reach out to europeanevents@youngliving.com and let us know your reasons
  • Please note that while we will attempt to keep you informed, all attendees will ultimately be responsible to seek out and complete the COVID-19 requirements for travelling from their own country to Split, Croatia. Any fees associated with COVID-19 tests required to enter Croatia will be at the Brand Partner’s expense.
  • For international travellers, please download this visa letter template, if applicable. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for Visa approval timelines with your local consulate office.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Young Living will cover the cost of your hotel stay in Šibenik, Croatia during the trip dates of June 10 - 13. Additional costs associated with the incentive trip, including certain meals, event activities, ground transportation for incentive functions, and airfare for the qualifying Brand Partners are also included as event perks.
Any nights stayed outside the event dates of June 10 – 13, will be at your own cost and based on availability at the hotel. Young Living will not cover additional expenses for early arrivals or late departures. If you choose to extend your stay, Young Living will cover the flight cost (for the qualifier only) as long as there is no increase in the fare due to the changed dates.
If you arrive or depart outside of the event dates, ground transportation to the hotel will not be arranged or covered. Incidental costs such as meals during travel and airline baggage fees will be covered at the Brand Partner’s expense. Carry-on bags are recommended.
**Qualified guests must be at least 18 years old to attend. Guests who have a recognised rank lower than Silver may not attend training meetings at the event.

DATES AND LOCATIONS

Q: Where and when is the 2022 Silver Retreat?
A: The retreat will be held in Šibenik, Croatia, and at the Young Living Helichrysum Farm and Distillery in Split, Croatia, June 10-13, 2022.

Q: If I qualify to have all expenses paid, what does that cover?
A: Young Living will cover the cost of the qualifying Brand Partner’s flights, accommodations, certain retreat meals, retreat activities, and ground transportation for retreat activities during the event. Incidental costs, such as meals during travel, airline baggage fees, etc., will be covered at the attendee’s expense.


GUESTS

Q: What if I want to bring my co-applicant, business partner, or another adult guest?

    A:
  • Only one member per account can attend and be paid for by Young Living, but you can bring a co-applicant or business partner as your qualified guest.
  • Qualifiers may invite one qualified guest to attend for a fee of €500, which includes: hotel accommodations, certain retreat meals, branded retreat swag, retreat activities, and ground transportation for retreat activities during the event. In addition to the €500 attendee price, guests are responsible for the cost of their airfare or preferred travel method.
  • Guests must be at least 18 years old to attend.

Q: May my guest attend all the meetings and activities with me?
A: Guests who rank Silver or above may attend training sessions.

Q: I had a baby recently. May I bring an infant with me?
A: Attendees are permitted to bring an infant within nursing age. Attendees will need to pay any extra costs associated with bringing their infant.

Q: Can I bring my children?
A: Young Living is a family company, and as such, we understand that you may want to bring your children with you to the retreat. Please note that while this is allowed, Young Living will not accommodate activities, meals, housing, transportation, or day care for children.

Q: Can I cancel my guest ticket?
A: Yes. Due to many unforeseen circumstances surrounding the current pandemic, we are currently suspending any cancellation penalties for guest cancellation. We do ask that you notify us immediately upon learning of your need to cancel you or your guest’s registration for the event.

TRANSPORTATION

Q: When should I arrive and depart?
A: Please plan to arrive before 3 p.m. on June 10 and to depart at any time on June 13.

Q: May I book my own flights?
A: No. Due to the complexity and risks of booking flights during the pandemic, all registrants will be required to book their flights through our travel partners at Egencia. If you would like Young Living to book any guest flights in conjunction with yours, please ensure you have paid the guest fee ahead of flight booking.
All flights must be booked no later than April 1. Attendees may be responsible for additional charges if booked after this date.

Q: What class are the flights? May we upgrade?
A: All flights will be booked ecconomy; any available upgrades are at your own expense.

Q: Will ground transportation be provided to and from the airport and my hotel?
A: Ground transportation to and from your hotel and the airport will be provided only on June 10 and June 13.

Q: May I drive to the retreat instead of fly?
A: You may drive, but you will need to provide a mileage receipt to europeanevents@youngliving.com by July 6 to receive a standard mileage rate reimbursement. Your reimbursement amount cannot exceed the cost of what your flight would have been.

HOTEL INFORMATION

Q: Can I share a room with a friend?
A: Each qualifier will receive their own hotel room. If you are bringing a guest, you will be required to share a room with that guest.

Q: At which hotel am I staying? Do you have my hotel confirmation information?
A: All attendees will stay in one of our partner hotels in at Amadria Park, Šibenik, Croatia. Hotels will be assigned after registration closes. Hotel room confirmation information will be emailed to you within a few weeks of the retreat.

Q: May I book my own hotel room?
A: You may not book your own hotel room during the event dates.

Q: May I arrive a day or two early or stay a day or two later?
A: Any nights stayed outside the event dates of June 10-13, 2022 will be at your own cost and based on availability at the hotel. MISCELLANEOUS

Q: What should I bring?
A: When packing for your visit, make sure to include the following, in addition to any usual travel necessities:

  • Smart casual clothes for the welcome reception. Women: blouses or button down shirts and dark wash jeans or dress pants/slacks. Men: polo shirts or button down shirts and dark-wash jeans or dress pants/slacks.
  • Casual wear for the farewell party
  • Comfortable clothing and shoes for the farm tour
  • Business casual for the training sessions

Q: Will translation services be available during the event?
A: Translation services will be provided at the retreat based on requests made during the registration process.

Are there any COVID-19 restrictions or requirements for travelling to Croatia?

  • Travel restrictions and requirements due to COVID-19 change frequently and vary based on the country you will be traveling from. We will make every effort to communicate any information we know about the travel restrictions, requirements, and documentation required due to COVID-19 as we get closer to the dates of travel.
