Join us and fellow Silver leaders at the 2021 Silver Retreat—our recognition and training event for our high-achieving Silvers! Held in Salt Lake City and the Young Living Lavender Farm and Distillery in Mona, Utah, this annual recognition event will take place September 29–October 2.
The retreat will feature a full tour of the Young Living Lavender Farm and Distillery, allowing attendees to see firsthand the Seed to Seal® quality commitment that is at the heart of Young Living’s industry excellence and receive personal insight into our process during the step-by-step walkthrough.
Participants will also learn the proven path toward achieving success—both in their teams and personal lives. Silvers will leave the retreat renewed, refreshed, and more inspired than ever to share Young Living products with the world.
Young Living Lavender Farm and Distillery—Mona, Utah, USA
Since the first rows of lavender were planted, the farm in Mona, Utah, has been the centre for Young Living activities, including Lavender Day, the Fall Harvest Festival, and distillery tours throughout the year. The farm grows botanicals such as lavender, peppermint, clary sage, and others for distillation into our pure essential oils.
Qualification
As the 2020 Silver Retreat was cancelled due to the global pandemic, all qualifiers for the 2020 and 2021 Silver Retreat are invited to attend.
Any Silver member who has qualified as a Silver for three consecutive months May 1, 2019–April 30, 2020 (2020 Silver Retreat qualification) or May 1, 2020–April 30, 2021 (2021 Silver Retreat qualification) for the first time and has not previously attended a Silver Retreat is invited to attend. This reward is offered for one person per membership.
Registration will open approximately July 21, 2021. (Date is subject to change.)
Guest Responsibilities
Qualifiers may invite one eligible guest* to attend for a $500 fee, which includes accommodations, certain retreat meals, retreat activities, retreat swag, and ground transportation for retreat activities during the event. If the guest ranks below Silver, the guest may not attend training sessions. Guests must pay for their own airfare.
Young Living is a family company, and as such, we understand that members may want to bring children with them to the retreat. Please note that while this is allowed, Young Living will not accommodate activities, meals, lodging, transportation, or day care for children. For those planning on bringing children, a list of day care options will be available on the registration website.

*An eligible guest must be at least 18 years old to attend. Guests who are members ranking lower than Silver may not attend training meetings at the event.

Where and when is the Silver Retreat?
The Silver Retreat is held in Salt Lake City, Utah, and at the Young Living Lavender Farm and Distillery in Mona, Utah, USA. It will take place September 29–October 2, 2021.
What are the qualification requirements?
Any Young Living member who has been paid as a Silver for three consecutive months between May 1, 2020, and April 30, 2021, and who has not previously attended a Silver Retreat is invited to attend one time. This reward is offered for one person per membership.
WHAT IF I WAS PAID AS SILVER ONCE BEFORE BUT THIS IS MY FIRST TIME ACHIEVING SILVER FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE MONTHS?
Although you have previously been paid at the rank of Silver, you are invited to attend the Silver Retreat based on the first time you are paid as a Silver for three consecutive months.
For example, Dawn was paid as a Silver for the first time in January 2018. However, her three consecutive months of being paid as a Silver were not until January 2021, February 2021, and March 2021. She would be invited to attend the 2021 Silver Retreat, regardless of being paid as a Silver once before, even if it was prior to the current qualification period.

WHAT IF NOT ALL OF MY THREE CONSECUTIVE QUALIFYING MONTHS ARE WITHIN THE QUALIFICAITON PERIOD?
You will be invited to attend the retreat based on the qualification period in which your third qualifying month falls.
For example, Glen was paid as Silver in March 2021, April 2021, and May 2021. He has qualified for the 2022 Silver Retreat. This is due to his third consecutive month of being paid as Silver falling within the 2022 Silver Retreat qualification period.

WILL I BE NOTIFIED IF I’VE QUALIFIED?
Yes, the month following your third consecutive month as a paid Silver, you will be sent a qualification email from Young Living.
WHAT DOES “ALL EXPENSES PAID” MEAN?
Young Living will cover the cost of your flights, lodging, provided meals, provided activities, and ground transportation to event activities during the retreat. Incidental costs, such as meals during travel, airline baggage fees, etc., will be at your expense. If the qualifying member invites one eligible guest, then a $500 fee and airfare will be required for that guest.
WHAT IF I QUALIFY FOR MORE THAN ONE RECOGNITION RETREAT IN A YEAR?
You’ll be invited to attend any and all recognition retreats you’ve earned, even if you’ve qualified for more than one in a year.
For example, Amanda was paid as Silver in May 2020, June 2020, and July 2020. She then was paid as a Gold in August 2020, September 2020, and October 2020. Amanda will be invited to attend the 2021 Silver Retreat and the 2021 Gold Retreat.

IF I CAN’T ATTEND THE YEAR I QUALIFIED, WHAT DO I DO?
If you qualified for Silver Retreat but are unable to attend the year you qualified, you may defer your qualification one time to the following year’s Silver Retreat.
To request a deferral, send an email to europeanrecognition@youngliving.com before the end of the subsequent qualification period with your name, member number, rank, and reason for the deferral.
Deferrals will not be granted without proper notification and are not automatic. You must notify us if you do not plan to attend, or you will forfeit attendance to that recognition retreat.
Qualifying members may defer their recognition retreat only once per recognition retreat. If you defer, you will receive an email invitation to register for the following year’s recognition retreat once new qualifiers are determined.
