Hi Jo, That’s a great question! We have not yet tried to make a lemon meringue pie using Lemon Vitality oil but you can try making one with it if you would like. We would love to hear how it turns out once you try it. Thanks for stopping by!

I’ve done it several times. Used 1-2 drops per 10″ pie. Everyone loved them.

Can I use eo in making cookies?

    • Young Living September 9, 2015 - 2:49 pm Reply

Hi! Absolutely! Essential oils which are labeled for dietary use can be used in baking. If the essential oil(s) is added to the cookies before they are baked, we are unable to guarantee the therapeutic properties will be retained, but the oils will still add flavor to the cookies. To retain the therapeutic properties of the oils, we would suggest adding 1-2 drops of oil (to taste) after the cookies are baked, perhaps in the frosting. Happy baking!
