I love the purse makeover idea… kind of wish Young Living had a purse, or bag that had all the compartments … several for oils, samples, the water botle, … now THAT would be cool. I have been looking for the perfect bag at the shops in my area, and have yet yo find one that will work.
I use the Luci Bag……It’s great with see through pockets for your oils and sample. I’ve attached a link. ;) http://www.lucibags.com/stylist/theresatoscano
Can anyone tell me if Lemongrass EO is the same as the Lemon EO?
Hello Nancy, Thanks for stopping by! Each essential oil is made up of a unique combination of constituents.Lemongrass essential oil is steam distilled from the Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) plant while Lemon essential oil is cold pressed from the rinds of Lemons (Citrus limon).
These are great ideas and I like hearing how others are using and sharing YL products with others through what they carry in their purses! I just became a distributor in late November and am looking for the page that is referenced to purchase the water bottle shown in the picture. Has the water bottle been discontinued? If not, how can I purchase it? Thank you!
Hi Carmen, Thanks for stopping by! The Glass Water Bottle pictured was only offered as a seasonal promotion until December 31, 2015.
I love the glass Water bottle too! I can’t tell you how much I hate PLASTIC!!!
I prefer a stainless steel bottle because I dropped my class one, in a sleeve and it broke. Stainless steel water bottle keeps water cold for about eight (8) hrs!!
There is a new glass water bottle in the Spring catalog, I have it and it is wonderful!
I love all the information shared and how much I learn from everyone. That is what makes YL soooo amazing!
I read that keeping your cell phone near your essential oils was a problem- yet my “go to ” oils are in a case in my purse as is my phone. Is this a problem?
That’s a great question, April. Rest assured that essential oils can safely be in proximity to devices without any cause for concern. The therapeutic benefits of each essential oil are stable enough to withstand impulses emitted from electronic devices such as cell phones. We hope this information is helpful!
I use the tiny bottles and have a few essentials in a small make up bag in my purse. I find that more economical and I love having the variety so close at hand.
Thought citrus oils were a “no-no” with sun exposure. Grapefruit lip balm?
Great question, Beth. Research shows* that the level of grapefruit essential oil included in the Grapefruit Lip Balm should pose no photo-sensitivity issues. To support this research, Young Living performed in-house photo-sensitivity testing. We hope this information is helpful!

Beth: I have all of the lip balms and like the Grapefruit Lip Balm the most. I wear it all the time and my lips have never felt so good. I carry it in my pockets along with a bottle of Peppermint Oil.
Must haves for my purse: Thieves Spray, Thieves Waterless Hand Purifier and a great color of lipstick. Don’t forget my make and take Roll-Ons and of course, I include a small wallet and a glass water bottle with Lemon oil too!
I love Rose Ointment! It’s awesome!
Where do I find that AWESOME water bottle! I have the need to sport that!
Hi Tammy, You can find the Glass Water Bottle by visiting https://www.youngliving.com/us/en/product/whimsical-spray-bottle. Enjoy!
I carry all but the Rose Ointment in mine!
I can fit 7 in my wallet!! Valor, Stress Away, EndoFlex, Peppermint, Copaiba, Helichrysum and Lavender. I also carry a DIY Roll-On, Thieves Waterless Hand Purifier and occasionally my Deep Relief. :)
I ‘m gonna have to get some of the Rose Ointment! How many ounces are in the Young Living Glass Water Bottle?
Hi Ann, The YL Glass Water Boole holds 550 ml, or about 18 ½ ounces.
If you haven’t tried Thieves Mints, they are amazing! They may seem a little pricey, but will be my “go to” this winter! They aren’t hot like the oil, but I laughed when a lady, five feet away from me said, “Did you just put something in your mouth? It smells so good!”
I’m a new YL. so glad to read any tips. Thanks so much!
Thanks for mentioning they aren’t hot! I have hesitated buying them because I worried they would be too spicy in my mouth!
I love all these ideas. Great conversational pieces.
Wow…what great ideas! Can’t wait to share these!
Love the idea’s, might have to try a few of these
I love these ideas. I am new to Young Living and appreciate information on using and sharing products and ideas.
I am a new YL also and these tips are wonderful!!!
Thank you! GREAT ADVISE!
Thank you for the reminder. I keep forgetting to try the Rose Ointment. Maybe soon:)
I think these would be a God send to have close at hand for use or samples
Definitely worth trying
thanks for the tips I think I might try some of these products
Delighted to view this great visual and accompanying suggestions. I love it. Am I allowed to use this material on line and in person?
Yes you can, Margaret.
I always carry Thieves Waterless hand purifier, Deep Relief, Joy, Lemon, Lip balm & my L’Briante
Ann, I have to admit that I have an addiction to lip products! Lol! I’ve been trying to find anyone who has bought the ART L’Briante lip gloss/essential oils duos so they can tell me about it! So, how is it? Does it wear well? I would appreciate your (and anyone else who cares to chime in!) feedback! I’m just so intrigued with the dual purpose of the ART L’Briante! It definitely would be a space-saver in the purse. Thanks!
Hi Michele, The L’Briante Lip Glosses add moisture and shine to lips. The lip gloss is offered in Red, Pink and Neutral making it easy for you to find the perfect shade to achieve an all-natural luster for your lips. The interchangeable packaging makes it fun to exchange a lip gloss for lip gloss or a roll-on for roll-on. When owning all three, there are a total of nine different combinations to choose from. We hope you get the feedback from other members that you were hoping for as well!
The LBriante’ is great. The smell is amazing and the gloss is smooth. I wouldn’t have originally paid that much for it but it was a freebie and now I love it and never leave home without it. If you’re like me and don’t wear perfume any longer, it’s perfect. The oils speak for themselves. The quality is outstanding and the smells are so superior to other brands that you can’t deny they are the best quality available. Trust me, I’ve tested many other brands and they can’t hold a candle to the Young Living products. I just love them and can’t seem to study and learn about them all fast enough! All in all, I give LBriante’ a TEN!! Loving it and can’t wait to add another to my collection.
Thank you Kathryn! I was wondering about that product too. The scale has been tipped. I’m getting L’Briant with my next essential rewards order.
I really enjoy thieves mints, as others have posted. With the next tin I open, I’m going to try using a pill-cutter to quarter each mint so they’ll seem to last longer.
