Kristen Tod
Regional President, EMEA

Kristen Tod’s passion for growing a business started young. At just 19 years old, she dove into the direct sales world—first by becoming a distributor, then by building her own direct sales company, and now by helping Young Living expand across continents as the vice president of Europe and Russia. It’s an impressive journey, and she’s been breaking records the whole way there. Kristen started with Young Living in 2014 and helped the company transition from Brisbane, Australia, to our new headquarters in Sydney. Her leadership skyrocketed Australia’s growth by 180 percent, making Young Living one of the largest network marketing companies in Australia and New Zealand.

A woman who does it all, Kristen is working on her MBA. She also juggles a jewelry-making business and enjoys unwinding with her husband, son, and grandkids—ending her days with a few drops of Lavender essential oil.

LATIN AMERICA

Manuel Ramirez
Country Manager, Mexico

Manuel Ramirez first discovered Young Living in 1997 when he met with Founder D. Gary Young to explore a business partnership. While that partnership did not materialize, when Manuel had the opportunity to join the Young Living team, he was excited to do so.

Manuel boasts 24 years in the direct sales industry, as well as degrees in both chemistry and pharmacology. He worked for numerous companies, including Morinda Inc., 4Life Research, Market America, and Jeunesse Global, managing sales and marketing teams and serving as a general manager.

Manuel has been happily married for 23 years and has two beautiful daughters. When he’s not creating strategies for the Mexico market, he loves spending time with his family, rowing, attending the theatre, and surrounding himself with friends and family. His favorite Young Living products include mint and citrus oils.
Carlos Melendez
Country Manager, Colombia & Ecuador

Carlos joined Young Living México in 2019 as the sales manager for the northern region of Mexico. He brought with him more than eight years of experience in the network marketing industry, as well as a passion for helping others, which led to his promotion to general manager of Colombia, and a few months later he also assumed the direction of Ecuador. In Young Living, Carlos says he has found a healthy and happy lifestyle where he can change the life of each person he meets.

Originally from northern Mexico, Carlos studied business administration with a specialty in finance at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey. His favorite Young Living essential oil is Peppermint and his favorite essential oil blend is Transformation™. Carlos enjoys spending time at home with his wife, Denise.
Mariangela Chávez
Country Manager, Costa Rica and Panama

Originally from Venezuela, Mariangela immigrated to Panama seven years ago to start a new life. She began working as a sales manager for Young Living in November 2019, bringing with her 12 years of experience in direct sales and network marketing. Her experience comes from living “people first,” illuminating others’ lives, and helping them achieve their ambitions through development and solid, consistent strategies.

Throughout her life and career, especially after her immigration experience, Mariangela developed the value of perseverance while striving for dreams that seemed impossible. Her goal with the Costa Rica and Panama team is to help both countries become the best they can be with the support of Young Living's powerful, straight-from-nature products.

In her spare time, Mariangela loves to read, travel, and learn about new cultures. She likes beginning every morning with NingXia Red® and the Awaken™ essential oil blend. Her favorite blend, Longevity™, holds great sentimental value for her.


INTERNATIONAL


Tai Tolman
President of International

Born in Hawaii with family origins from New Zealand, Tai has lived, worked, and raised his family of six (wife Tanya and 4 children) in five different countries. Tai has spent the last 16 years in Asia where he’s served as a Vice President with Melaleuca and most recently as Young Living’s Regional President of Asia-Pacific since 2016. Both Tai’s life and his career have been defined to an extraordinary degree by his global experience and mindset. With more than 20 years’ experience managing all customer-facing business, sales, marketing, and operational functions in international markets, Tai has made his mark by successfully launching and developing countries across the globe.

As Young Living’s head of international markets and a member of the executive team, Tai’s mission is to elevate the voice of our members at every level, ensuring an experience that matches the unparalleled quality of our products. By building and leading high-performance teams, Tai works to advance Young Living’s world-changing vison, bridging world-class products with the opportunity to transform lives and communities forever.

Tai graduated with a degree in global economics and French from BYU and has earned MBA degrees from both UCLA and the National University of Singapore. Tai and his family currently live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where they are engaged members of the community as well as fitness enthusiasts, gym owners, and weekend rugby coaches and players. Tai’s go-to Young Living product of choice is Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood.

APAC


Rick Arnold
General Manager, Australia and New Zealand

Rick has an outstanding 30-year record in the direct sales industry. He’s spent 18 years in corporate management and an additional 10 years as a top distributor with a major industry leader.

Rick holds a diploma of education, majoring in science, music, psychology, and English. He also has a Certificate IV in frontline management and a graduate certificate in business management from Adelaide University. As general manager of Australia and New Zealand, Rick is passionate about Young Living, its unique products, and company philosophy and feels a personal connection to its mission.
Toshimitsu Nakagawa
Country Manager, Japan

Born and raised in Japan, Toshi moved to Oregon, USA, during his sophomore year of high school. He went on to study information systems in Hawaii during college. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Globis University in Japan.

Toshi has extensive experience in the network marketing business after working for five major global direct sales companies for nearly 10 years in sales and 10 years in marketing. Since joining Young Living in 2019, he served as the senior director of sales and marketing before becoming country manager of Japan.

His favorite Young Living products are Peppermint and Sacred Frankincense™ essential oils and the Believe™ essential oil blend.
Vance Yuan
Country Manager, Greater China

Vance joined Young Living in 2016, bringing with him a deep understanding of health products, in-depth knowledge of global markets, and extensive experience in various industries, including pharmaceutical, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and direct sales. He earned his master of science in pharmaceuticals from the Graduate Institute of Taipei Medical University.

After graduating, he worked as a sales representative and then product manager for MSD Taiwan, a subsidiary of Merck. He later signed on with Sanofi, a health and life sciences organization, as a senior product manager. In 2014, Vance began work as Nu Skin’s education director for greater China. Within a year, he oversaw the marketing departments for both Taiwan and Hong Kong. He is enthusiastic about leading Young Living’s greater China region to even greater success.

Vance is married with one son. He loves reading and traveling with his family and friends. His favorite Young Living product is Jade Lemon essential oil because it’s sourced from his home country of Taiwan.
Adeline Law
Country Manager, Malaysia

With 15 years in advertising and close to a decade in the direct sales industry, specializing in regional category management, Adeline knows about the importance of establishing brand leadership. After only two years as general manager over the Malaysian market, she led her team to rank among the top five markets outside the U.S., with the highest revenue and enrollments in 2021. She credits this achievement to her dedicated team and to the astute leadership of the brand partners in Malaysia.

When she is not devoting her free time to charitable causes, Adeline loves exploring art museums, discovering new music, and raving about Star Wars. To keep her going during the day, she relies on Dorado Azul, Vetiver, Believe™, and Raven™. She keeps Tranquil™ and Fresh Breeze Roll-Ons by her bedside for her evening wind-down.
Franco Silva
General Manager, Philippines and Korea

Franco brings over 11 years of direct-selling experience to Young Living in various roles, including marketing, sales channel management, IT, project management, and brand management. Following his joining the Young Living Global Sales Operations team in 2017, he led one of the largest recorded sales campaigns in company history.

Recently, he spent time in Young Living’s Asia-Pacific market, where he provided leadership and strategic oversight to the region’s teams. In the process, he also played a key role in the growth of the Asian markets. As he takes the helm of Young Living in the Philippines, Franco hopes to live by the heart-centered, authentic style of leadership shown by Young Living Founder D. Gary Young.

In his personal time, Franco enjoys traveling, running, scuba diving, and sound healing therapies. He is a certified rockhound, mining for crystals and other earth treasures whenever he can.
Abbie Cheung
Country Manager, Hong Kong & Macau

Abbie comes from a well-blended background of wellness education and event marketing. She is a home-grown Young Living leader who focuses on leading with empathy. After joining Young Living in 2014 in Hong Kong, Abbie played a leading role in establishing the strong foundation of success that has earned Young Living its excellent reputation in Hong Kong and Macau. More recently, Abbie spent the past few years pioneering the first regional leadership team overseeing marketing and events efforts across APAC. Abbie now focuses on inspiring the Hong Kong market to new heights with the help of her sharply honed experience and long-term perspective.

Away from work, Abbie enjoys nature with her husband and daughter. She uses her favorite Young Living products, Valor® , Grounding™, and Northern Light Black Spruce, to keep her balanced


Ksatrio Yudho Sampurno
Country Manager, Indonesia

With over 15 years of experience in sales and marketing and an MBA from Southampton Business School, Yudho knows how to help a company grow. His collaborative approach and habit of pushing past limits have helped him make his mark in the direct-selling industry in his country. In his roles at Tupperware and Amway, he was responsible for both local and APAC markets.

Yudho’s fascination with the power of high-quality essential oils led him to Young Living in April 2019 as the sales and marketing director in Indonesia. The company quickly recognized his strong strategic and tactical thinking skills and appointed him country manager in October 2019.
Lydia Aw
Country Manager, Singapore

Lydia came to Young Living with more than 20 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, where she took on functional leadership and general management roles across Asia. She is a versatile professional with extensive experience in both business-to-consumer and business-to-business channels, having led marketing and sales teams in mature and fast-growing businesses.

Throughout her career, Lydia has consistently delivered results in challenging environments. She also has successfully led culture change toward a winning mindset and teamwork. Lydia is passionate about people and has a proven ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams. She is married with four children and loves to travel, read, and sing during her free time.

EUROPE/RUSSIA

Kristen Tod

Young Living was delighted to welcome Kristen Tod as the new vice president of Europe and Russia in 2019. In this newly created position, Kristen is focusing on building relationships that will advance Young Living in Europe and Russia to the next level.

Kristen boasts an impressive 30 years in the direct sales industry, starting when she was only 19 years old. Since then she’s worked as a distributor with another networking company, started her own network marketing company and became a successful corporate business development and sales leader.

Kristen started with Young Living in 2014 and helped the company during an important transition from Brisbane to its new headquarters in Sydney. Under her leadership, Young Living in Australia achieved 180 percent growth, making it one of the largest network marketing companies in Australia and New Zealand.

Kristen is currently earning her MBA. She loves spending time with her husband, her son, and his family, which includes two grandsons. In her spare time, she designs jewelry, purchasing many pieces at auction and redesigning them. People are drawn to Kristen’s passion, hands-on mentoring and management style as she helps them build their own businesses.

Even before joining Young Living, Kristen used Young Living’s Lavender essential oil to unwind before bed.
