What is, if any, difference(s) between the Home (rose-shaped) diffuser and the Dew Drop Home diffuser? I don’t have a diffuser yet, and am looking for a more basic one to start with 🙂 (just for adult use, in smaller rooms of the home) Thanks!

    • Young Living March 14, 2017 - 11:33 am Reply

Hey Courtney! The diffusers that you listed are very similar in price and capability. They both require the same amout of essential oil to diffuse and are a great diffuser for the home. It just comes down to which one you think is more aesthetically pleasing. Hope that helps!

  • Kimberlee February 25, 2017 - 12:59 pm Reply

I have the Aria, and the Home diffusers. I’m looking for something that can run longer than 2 hours… what a disappointment the Aria was that for all the cost it shuts off after 2 hours! No bueno!

    • Young Living February 27, 2017 - 2:04 pm Reply

Hi Kimberlee, We’re sorry to hear about your disappointment. We suggest reviewing our Diffuser Comparision Chart to determine which of our other diffusers may best suit your needs! Thanks for stopping by!

  • Darragh January 6, 2017 - 3:59 pm Reply

I have the thermapro difuser. You put the oil in with no water, right? Can you use the oil with water in this model? Would the use of water harm this device? Thanks.

    • Young Living January 9, 2017 - 11:41 am Reply

Hi Darragh, The TheraPro Diffuser is not intended be used with water. It is designed to attach a 15 ml bottle of essential oil directly to the atomizing top which then attaches to the diffuser pump. We recommend reviewing your diffuser manual for instructions for use with the TheraPro Diffuser. Thanks for stopping by with your question!

  • Chiara December 25, 2016 - 3:12 pm Reply

Hi! I have a question: what type of plastic the diffusers are made of? Are they BPA free? Thank you

    • Young Living December 27, 2016 - 12:26 pm Reply

Hi Chiara, The plastic used for each of our diffusers is Polypropylene (PP). The diffusers are BPA free and do not contain any phthalates. Thanks for stopping by with your question!

I was the Aria diffuser which I love very much. Actually I have 17 diffusers throughout my home and car . So many oils – so little time. Ha.

  • belinda October 28, 2016 - 1:20 am Reply

I’m planning on using it to help me sleep I got the home and dewdrop diffuser it says that it emits light. Do they all emit light? Are they noisy

    • Young Living November 4, 2016 - 8:12 am Reply

Hi Belinda, Many of the diffusers we offer have a light feature and have the ability for the light to be turned off while in use, such as the Dewdrop Diffuser. As our diffusers use the function of a fan, they will emit a low amount of noise. We recommend viewing our Diffuser Comparision Chart for more information on each of the features. Thanks for stopping by!

Which diffuser is quietest? I have a nebulizing diffuser and it’s too loud in my massage room and bedroom.

    • Young Living October 10, 2016 - 10:35 am Reply

Hi Shawn, The Aria and Rainstone Diffuser have the lowest noise level at 23 dB. We suggest reviewing our Diffuser Comparison Chart to determine which diffuser would be right for you! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

  • Diann Walley September 29, 2016 - 7:26 pm Reply

I love the Aria Ultrasonic it seems to hold up better than the Home diffuser. I am going on my third Home diffuser and it lasted me about 3 months. I purchase the Dino for my 3 year old great grandson for his birthday. They came to spend the night I put one of the new Home diffuser for him to use. My granddaughter said on Memaw I brought his Dino diffuser it works so much better and longer. For each of my great granddaughters will be getting the Dolphin diffuser for there birthday. Is there a diffuser that will run as long as the Dino?

I looked at this model. I would have bought it , if it did not have the music feature. I wish you made a model that was without that feature!

  • Debbie Hines September 29, 2016 - 11:13 am Reply

Can you please tell me the difference in the Dew Drop
And Aria diffusser. I have the Dew Drop.
    Thank you

    • Young Living October 10, 2016 - 11:07 am Reply

Hi Debbie, The Dewdrop Diffuser is a more simple but highly effective and efficient diffuser. It offers 4 hours of continuous diffusion as well as ambient light. It is a wonderful option for those with a tighter budget. The Aria Diffuser is our most expensive unit offered. It provides a range of LED lights, the ability to play music through the unit and gives off a spa like atmosphere with a wood bass and glass dome top. We suggest viewing each of our diffusers on the Diffuser Comparison Chart to determine which unit is right for you! Thanks for stopping by!

I was interested in the Aromalux diffuser and how it works. It says 10 hour maximum. Does it use an entire bottle of oil in 10 hours? I’m just confused on how this diffuser works. Thanks.

    • Young Living October 10, 2016 - 10:29 am Reply

Hi Lori, Great question. The AromaLux has the option to run for a 10 hour period of time. However, at the highest settings, it will empty a 15 ml bottle in about 6 hours. Thanks for stopping by with your question!

  • Leslie Schiefer September 28, 2016 - 5:40 pm Reply

I thought my results would be the Aria but to my surprise it was the Aroma Lux. I’d love to try either one.

What would be the best diffuser for a college dorm room? Is the Orb only USB?

    • Young Living September 8, 2016 - 5:03 pm Reply

      Hi Pam,

It depends on what you’re concerned about. Most diffusers will work well for a small area. As for the orb diffuser, It uses a USB port as a power source. Thanks for your questions!

      • Kippi September 26, 2016 - 9:03 pm Reply

You can put the usb end into a plug adapter and use it anywhere!

What diffuser would you recommend for my 5th grade classroom? I have a YL bamboo diffuser at home and love it! I bought a cheapy diffuser from Amazon for my classroom, but it quit working a a few months. I won’t make the same mistake again. I use YL oils at home and at school and need a diffuser that will last at school.

One of he questions is “do
You use a variety of oils, or just your favorites” why does that matter when picking a diffuser?

    • Young Living September 8, 2016 - 5:09 pm Reply

      Hi Stacey,

Some diffusers are easier to use if you like to change-up what essential oils you diffuse frequently. For instance, the USB diffuser requires that you fill a small container up with an essential oil and then you put it back together. Thanks for your question!

  • Maria Howard August 31, 2016 - 8:15 pm Reply

I took the quiz to see how accurate it would be. It was 100 percent correct when it matched me with aria. This difuser is my absolute favorite!

Why, when I specify I do NOT want a humidifier, does this give me a diffuser with “a large water reservoir”??? We need LESS moisture in our home, not more!

  • Rosie August 22, 2016 - 12:07 pm Reply

I have a few diffusers already but now see that I need to try the Rainstone diffuser as that is my match.

Hi Steve, As each of our diffusers are Young Living® brand merchandise they will include our logo. I have this diffuser (love it) and many other diffusers. I have about five of them and have one in almost every room of the house. I tend to use them every day and then I go through a spell where I am not using them. I need to start using them again every day as we are breathing every day so why not take in the wonderful oil aroma each day and continue to improve our health?
So that is what I intend to do.
