  • Seems like too much delicious...can't control myself to taste it at least one time.

    • Hello Elaine, Peppermint 15 ml is labeled as a topical/aromatic while Peppermint Vitality™ is labeled as a dietary supplement. Please follow the usage directions on the individual product labels. The Vitality line of oils is the same 100% therapeutic-grade essential oils for which Young Living® has become known. The Vitality line was created so that members can now draw clear distinction between topical/aromatic use and dietary use. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Sounds like a great recipe. But I would like to substitute the honey with agave. How much agave to replace the honey?

    • Alma, Did you ever try this with agave? We just learned our daughter-in-law in allergic to honey. So many of recipes do call for honey in place of sugar. Just wondering.

    • Hi Alma, Thanks for stopping by! We have not tried substituting the honey with agave at this point in time. If you try this substitute suggestion out, we'd love to hear about your experience. Best of luck and we hope you enjoy the recipe!

    • Great question, Bernadine. When preparing this brownie recipe, we used canned black beans. Canned beans are typically cooked before they are canned so there was no need for us to warm up or reheat them before adding to the recipe. We have not yet tried the recipe with non-canned or dry beans, but we'd love to hear back from you about how they turn out if you give it a try. Thanks again for stopping by. We hope you enjoy the brownies!

  • Has anyone tried this? I'm trying to find out if it is husband and kid friendly, haha! Will they know they're eating black beans?

    • I have made this recipe many times and used them at catered events. I have often challenged guests to guess what the brownies are made from. No one has ever guessed that there are beans in them. But people usually come back back for seconds or even thirds.

    • These are amazing!! I used 3 drops of peppermint vitality. My hubby HATES beans and will actually eat them(I haven't told him that he's eating beans) 😜

  • THANK YOU!!!! I have an allergy to all grains (including wheat, rye, barely, corn, rice, quinoa, oats, millet, trickle, spelt, etc). I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THIS!!! I appreciate you posting this recipe!! I have already used the Peppermint Vitality oil to make mint and chip ice cream... Now I can make a brownie sundae! Yea!!!! Thank you for being an amazing company!

    • Loretta, were they nice and gooey and chewy? They LOOK absolutely amazing! I will make them, give them to hubby and NOT tell him the 'secrets' in the recipe ;)
