Between a busy lifestyle and the quick availability of sweet and fizzy beverage options, getting enough water each day isn’t always easy; but it is important.
Experts in fields from beauty to medicine agree that hydration’s role in proper physical function cannot be overstated. According to the Mayo Clinic, your daily activities, such as breathing and sweating, deplete your hydration, making a fluid intake of 13 cups for men and 9 cups for women crucial—more if you are exercising or live in a hot climate.

Did you also know that you can get the benefits of some essential oils by ingesting them? For this reason, Young Living developed the Vitality™ line to provide a clear distinction between oils suitable for internal use and oils that are for topical and aromatic use only. All are the same premium, authentic essential oils, we’ve just labeled them differently so there’s no confusion at the time of choosing which oils to add to your water bottle.

I grow my own herbs/spices and as I pick them I freeze them in ice cube trays with water. During the summer I'll grab a couple ice cubes with spearmint or peppermint leaves to add to my water. Refreshing and organic!
Love any of the citrus oils in water. I would try this project but it would never work out that good for me lol!
😀 I do this too!

I LOVE using grapefruit in my water. It is refreshing AND the extra taste is something I crave, which makes me drink more water!
I love orange and cinnamon!
That sounds wonderful in tea too. But I am going to try that.
When you are using the oils in tea, do you have to have a glass or stainless steel cup or will ceramic, regular tea cup work?
Hey Tammy,
You shouldn't have a problem using essential oils in ceramic/traditional tea-cups! Thanks for your question!
