4 Essential Oils Made for Kids

Whether you’re an experienced oil user or new to essential oils, the Young Living KidScents® Oils have been designed so they are safe to use on kids. Formulated specifically for developing minds, bodies and emotions.

Our celebrity brand ambassador, Laura Csortan, former Miss Australia, Model and TV Presenter loves the KidScents® Oils, as they are safe to use on her daughter, 2 year old Layla-Rose.  The blends are gentle on young skin and pre-diluted, so they’re easy to use.

Between school assignments, exams, after-school activities and play dates you and your kids have plenty on your plates. And it doesn’t make it any easier when the kids don’t want to go to school. We’ve compiled some of our favourites to help the whole family get through the day, from breakfast to bedtime.

  1. Conquer the School Run

KidScents® GeneYus is an excellent blend to diffuse during the school run.  It’s great opportunity to pump up the kids for the day. Give a quick pep talk before they head out of the car or use your USB Diffuser or Orb™ Diffuser to infuse the trip with an essential oil such as KidScents GeneYus™.  It helps kids to focus and concentrate on their school projects.

After driving the kids to school apply 2 to 4 drops, directly onto the neck or wrists to create a positive environment and enhance creativity for they rest of the school day.

  1. First Day Jitters

Even little kids can feel nervous or unsettled when faced with something new or challenging. Kids can experience butterflies from nerves starting from the first day of kindergarten, starting primary school, a big exam or when that important assignment is due.

During times of everyday stress for kids, apply KidScents® TummyGize to help soothe and relax them.  Simply, apply a few drops directly to their stomach or wrists or diffuse, for soothing, relaxing and calming feelings*.  The fresh uplifting blend contains Spearmint, Peppermint, Tangerine, Fennel, Ginger Root and Cardamom.

“Layla-Rose loves the refreshing aroma of KidScents® TummyGize™, it helps to soothe and calm her, especially if we’ve had a long day.” says Laura Csortan

  1. Make the Afternoon Awesome & Relax at Bedtime

The final school bell may have rung, but you and your kids know there’s still more to pack in before bedtime! Whether they’re at music lessons or study sessions, help kids maximise their time with help from essential oils.

Diffuse KidScents® Refresh while they practice their instruments, do homework, or working on their art projects.

“Layla-Rose and I are always on the go. We travel a lot and have a busy lifestyle. I apply a few drops of KidScents® Refresh™ to her chest at bedtime to help her to relax.”says Laura Csortan

Tip: Instead of shuttling back and forth between home and activities, stop at a park or café near your kid’s practice venue. You can unwind with some alone time or whip out your laptop to get work done!

  1. Soothe The Skin

After a long day at school, kids can complain of dry or itchy skin. KidScents® KidCare™ promotes healthy looking skin and promotes positive feelings. If diffused it creates a relaxing environment or a few drops can be added to the bath to help soothe and calm – it’s a great reward before bedtime.
