JOB SUMMARY
- The Social Media and Content Creator Specialist lives and breathes social media, with a genuine interest in creative lifestyle products and essential oils.

- The position is responsible for developing engaging content, strengthening the company’s online presence, identifying emerging trends, and ensuring Young Living remains relevant and up to date within the Malaysian market.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with Young Living’s mission and visual identity.
Create original and engaging content such as photos, videos, Reels, TikToks, and stories that highlight products, community moments, and the Young Living lifestyle.
Capture and curate product, brand, and business opportunity moments including behind-the-scenes videos and final content pieces.
Manage posting schedules and daily engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to plan campaigns, promote events, and amplify product, brand and business opportunity stories.
Track performance metrics and adjust content strategies based on insights and analytics.
Analyze emerging trends in social media and digital culture to support marketing, sales, and branding strategies and keep Young Living relevant in the Malaysian market.
Education & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Creative Media, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
Proven experience managing and growing social media platforms for a brand or creative business.
Strong understanding of social media trends, storytelling, and community engagement.
Competency in photography, videography, and content editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, CapCut).
Understanding of marketing or sales trends within the Malaysian digital landscape is an added advantage.
Work Environment
The Social Media & Content Creator Specialist works in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment that involves both on-site and remote tasks. This includes regular collaboration with Marketing and Sales, hands-on content creation, trend monitoring, and community engagement. Adaptability, creativity, and attention to detail are essential to maintaining a relevant and trend-forward brand presence in the Malaysian market.
