Essential Oils for Homework

No more zoning out when it’s time to do homework. Help your kids stay at the top of the class with these Essential Oils! Try diffusing them while your kids are studying or doing homework to create focused, balanced atmosphere that is supportive of concentration and staying on task. You can also apply these oils topically to the base of the skull, along the feet, or make your own roller that you can send with your kids to school. (Make sure to dilute with a carrier oil like V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex when applying on young children.)

1. GeneYus Essential Oil Blend

GeneYus was created with kids in mind! It is already prediluted for kids ages 2-12. Use this blend for a focusing aroma that helps kids concentrate on projects and stay on task. This is a great oil to put in your kids’ backpacks, so they can apply it on their wrists or neck when they are reading, taking a test, or need a little help staying on task.

This blend includes powerful essential oils that are very high in sesquiterpenes. Sesquiterpenes are a classification of essential oil constituents. They have a lighter aroma and have been studied extensively.

This blend includes coconut oil, Sacred Frankincense, Blue Cypress, Cedarwood, Idaho Blue Spruce, Palo Santo, Melissa, Northern Lights Black Spruce, sweet almond oil, Bergamot, Myrrh, Vetiver, Geranium essential oil, Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, Hyssop, Coriander, and Rose. It also includes almond oil as a carrier oil; the other KidScents oils do not contain almond oil.

2. Vetiver Essential Oil

Let Vetiver’s complex and uplifting aroma help calm your mind, so you can focus on the tasks that require the utmost attention. Perfect for study, difficult work tasks, or even curling up with a long novel, Vetiver’s fragrance creates a relaxing atmosphere where distractions lose their power. Vetiver’s aroma is grounding, calming, and stabilizing. It is also incredibly thick and can sometimes be slow to flow from the bottle; but don’t worry, there is nothing wrong with your oil!

3. Brain Power Essential Oil Blend

This Essential Oil Blend lives up to its name and contains Essential Oils such as Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Melissa, Blue Cypress, Lavender, and Helichrysum, many of which are high in sesquiterpenes. These oils help create an environment to clarify your thoughts and deepen your focus.

4. Rosemary Essential Oil

This woodsy aroma can help create an energizing environment and promote a sense of clarity. Its aroma is great to diffuse to help you study. In fact, you can find this powerful oil in Young Living’s Thieves and En-R-Gee blends.

5. Clarity Essential Oil Blend

Do you want to create an environment for focus and clarity? Whether it’s diffused or applied topically, Clarity’s refreshing aroma can provide the perfect setting to get things done. Clarity is a blend of Basil essential oil, Cardamom, Rosemary, Peppermint, Coriander, Geranium, Bergamot, Lemon, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, and Palmarosa. Together, they make the perfect combination to brighten and refresh any space or situation!

Whether your kids need a space to do homework, study, organize their rooms, or maybe you need to get through your to-do list, try using these essential oils to create a clear and focused environment!
