  • Hi Megan, There is no specific time that any oil can be universally safe to diffuse. You can try wearing the oils on you while around your baby to help your 3 month old get accustomed to it. Essential oils should not be diffused in their immediate proximity or for long periods of time without the prior consent of a pediatric physician. We also suggest diffusing a small amount of essential oil for short periods of time until you have determined if your children have any sensitivity to diffusing, one oil at a time when it is new to them. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Hi Laura! Great question, the labeled instructions offer usage directions for kids from 2 to 12. We recommend seeking the advise of a pediatrician who has experience with Essential Oil usage on infants and toddlers for more targeted advise. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Hi Tesora! Essential Oils can be beneficial for people of ALL ages. As none of the above listed caution oils are in the blend of Valor, it can be safe and effective to use on your little ones, as long as the proper dilution ratios are followed(suggestions above). However, individual sensitivities can vary! Always patch test with first time use, keep the carrier oil nearby in case of extra sensitivities, and get supporting consent from a pediatrician who has experience with the use of EO's on infants and toddlers. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Hi Abby! As Young Living products are not labeled to be used as drugs, they are not intended for use in the treatment or cure of disease or any abnormal function of the body, including ailments or injuries, including congestion and coughing. Also as R.C. has three types of Eucalyptus, we recommend extreme caution, and to consult with a pediatrician who has experience with Essential Oil usage on infants. Thank you for stopping by!

  • Hello!
Im looking to help a daycare move towards using thieves cleaning versus the bleach and clorox and they are curious as to how that may work with daycare cleaning guidelines set by states. Do you know where I could find information on this?

  • Hi Daniela! To safeguard the health of your children, the essential oils should not be diffused in their immediate proximity or for long periods of time without the prior consent of a pediatric physician. We also suggest diffusing a small amount of essential oil for short periods of time until you have determined if your children have any sensitivity to diffusing, prior to increasing the amount. You may also want to start with one oil at a time to better determine any sensitivities. Thanks for stopping by!

    • Hi Sara! Although we do recommend extreme caution when using essential oils for children, through our research and 20+ years of experience, we have found that essential oils can be safe and beneficial for people of all ages. However, due to the extreme sensitivities of children and the fact that individual reactions will vary, we do not have a list of specific oils that can/cannot be used with children available to provide. We suggest consulting a health care provider to determine what is right for your children. Thanks for stopping by!

    • Hello Taylor, If your child has a medical condition, such as a cold sore, and due to the extreme sensitivities of children, we recommend speaking to the child's healthcare provider prior to use to see if the product meets your specific needs and to determine what is right for your child. Thanks for stopping by!

    • Hello Alan, If your child has a medical condition or is taking prescription medication, it is recommended to consult with health adviser who has experience with Essential Oils prior to using an Essential Oil. Seek the advice of the prescribing physician and a pharmacist about potential interactions between the medication(s) and the essential oil(s).

  • I'm wanting to use lavender oil to help my 4 month old sleep better. Would you recommend diluting 1 drop with coconut oil and applying to the bottom of his feet or would it be best to simply apply some on myself while rocking him to bed?

    • Hello Lensie, It is suggested for a child 0-1 years to dilute 1/8 of the concentration. Therefore, we recommend when using Lavender Essential Oil, you should dilute 8 drops carrier oil for every 1 drop of Lavender. If you have additional concerns, we recommend reaching out to your child's pediatrician. Thanks for stopping by!
