    • Do you have any recommendations for a 5 month old who is teething? I know I need to dilute when topically but I've been trying to find something for his teething and I've heard clove oil is not good to be ingested that young even diluted. I'm new to essential oils somewhat, used them for about a year but not to often, now that I got my starter kit and have copaiba, I was wondering if you had any advice on this oil for teething as I know that young living can not provide such advice to protect themselves from legal issues. My baby is in pain and I don't know how to help besides teethers but he gets mad at them. (Lol) I would really appreciate any advice/recommendations on any oil for teething baby

  • We use Lavender daily with our active kiddos! Ruby (3 years) loves her KidScents oils too, all ready to use with the roll-on tops. She thinks she is such a "big girl"! Vinny (18 months) also loves his oils and will belly flop on the couch to have his neck, back and feet oiled :)

  • I have a 3 month old grandson and he has been an "oily baby" from the time he was born. My daughter used Young Living Essential Oil throughout her pregnancy and immediately following. We anointed him with Frankincense shortly after his birth. I made all his baby products using YL essential oils Lavender and Gentle Baby. Those items included baby wipes, baby powder, baby oil, and baby wash. He is a healthy and happy baby! She also uses the KidScents products which are absolutely amazing! Our whole family incorporates YL oils everyday in our lives and absolutely love them!!! They are amazing!! Thank you Young Living and Gary and Mary Young!

  • I was reading that Eucalyptus and Rosemary shouldn't be used on kids under 10 and Peppermint shouldn't be used on kids under age 6. Is this true?

    • Hi Chanda, Although we do recommend extreme caution when using essential oils for children, through our research and 20+ years of experience, we have found that essential oils can be safe and beneficial for people of all ages. We recommend referring to the individual label directions for any age restrictions. Essential oils should also be diluted for use on children. We suggest using a patch test procedure to ensure that the oil is properly diluted for the child. To perform a patch test, apply 1-2 drops of EO to a patch of skin such as the forearm. If you have further concerns, we suggest consulting a health care provider to determine what is right for your children. We hope this information is helpful and appreciate you stopping by!

  • It is good to incorporate the entire family, especially the children, in the use of essential oils. With our family, it is a lifestyle. A part of our life!
