When you wake up some mornings, do you ever wonder, “I just woke up; why do I feel so tired?” or, “How am I going to muster the get-up-and-go I need for the day?” Let me share a few simple, yet powerful, Aroma Yoga® exercises that may help stoke your inner fire and energize your body and mind so you can start your day with an extra boost!
The essential oils I recommend for these exercises are Young Living’s Bergamot oil (for its uplifting and invigorating scent) mixed with Eucalyptus Radiata (for its stimulating and refreshing fragrance) or Eucalyptus Globulus. Combining these essential oils with the following movements may foster that spark you need to start your day energized.
Each day that you practice, you can set a new intention or stay with one until you see it become manifest. I also suggest putting three to four drops of each essential oil used above in your diffuser to continue anchoring your olfactory experience throughout the day.
Find these and many more energy exercises in Aroma Yoga: A Guide for Using Essential Oils in Your Yoga Practice and the Aroma Yoga DVD.

Hi.. my husband has chikungunya. What oils can help him? So sad to see him not as the way he used to
With any medical condition, we recommend that you seek the advice and recommendation of a competent, trained health care provider with knowledge and experience with essential oils.
My spouse is a first year surgery resident and works 14 hour days, sometimes 12 days in a row. Her morning routine is to take a shower and, before drying off, rub her hands together with 2 drops of peppermint oil -and then rub the oil around her neck and shoulders and into her scalp. She finishes with some deep inhalations into her palms to open and invigorate the airway. It wakes her up and sets the tone for the day!
I don’t have bergamot is there another oil that would pair nicely with the Eucalyptus R?
Bergamot is one of our citrus oils and has an uplifting, fresh scent. Feel free to substitute a similarly scented oil that you already have on hand, such as Hinoki. Hope this helps!
Hi!,
Another favorite I have is blending Peppermint and lavender. Perhaps you can try that?

I use the oils daily. A drop of lemon in my water all day; thieves on the bottom of my feet; and peppermint in my pocket to breathe plus share with others. This leads to an open conversation about the other oils.
I will try it, I have chikungunya for more than 4 weeks and need something to get me going.
Thank you.
Absolutely incredible breakdown of introductory aroma yoga– thanks for the infographic!
Thanks, Tracy! Love this exercise and will be diffusing those oils today.

is there any way to make this protocol printable? i.e. black and white and larger print, smaller diagrams? thanks!
You can right click on the image and either copy or save it. Then you can import it into an editing program to resize. Hope this helps!
