  • We live in a home with five birds as well as 4 cats. I've been utilizing essentials now since I moved in, carefully, reading and researching. Can anyone with experience with diffusing around tropical birds give me their best suggestion. Please and thank you:)* Namaste
on a side note i'm very open to constructive criticism and pure intention. thanks

  • Inevitably of my cats has a lot of anxiety which he is on meds for. Which oil can I use to relax him? Peace & calming? Lavender? Stress away?? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

    • Hi JoAnn, Essential oils can be safely and effectively shared with your animal friends. However, if your pet has a disease or medical condition, or if they are using a prescription medication, it is recommended that you seek the advice and recommendation of a competent, trained veterinarian with knowledge and experience with essential oils use on animals prior to using an Essential Oil. You will also want to seek their advice about potential interactions between the medications and essential oils. Thanks for stopping by!

    • Hi Lisa, we recommend applying the oils to your dog's paws, not ears. If you have further concerns, we recommend speaking to your veterinarian for targeted advice. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Doesn't the use of water with essential oils drive the oil deeper...wouldn't that be a "don't"?

    • Hi Deidre, the dilution with water is referring to using the essential oils in a spray bottle for easier application on large animals such as horses. We recommend using V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex when diluting for topical application on smaller animals. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Hi! I have a 7 year old rescued Olde English Bulldog! He's honestly THE most gentle guy but suffers from MAJOR allergies both environmental and food. We've narrowed down what it is. We're giving him weekly immunotherapy injections and he's on regular allergy medication. Poor guy STILL suffers with dry skin, itching and anxiety related licking. Anyone have experience with something that might ease his discomfort?

    • Brandi, We have an American Bulldog with sensitivities and we are working with our vet.Now I have not used the oils topically on him or had him digest anything. We are taking things one step at a time but diffusing Thieves is a good alternative to the others.

    • Hi Robin, as small creatures are very sensitive to essential oils, we recommend speaking with a trained veterinarian for targeted advice. Thanks for stopping by!

  • I have been using Animal Scents Ointment on my dog for 3 weeks and I'm thrilled at how well it works!

  • I have a houseful of five senior rescue dogs and we are huge fans of diffusing T-Away, Peace and Calming, Stress Away and even Valor as needed. Storm...what storm? What fireworks? Love having our soothing cuddles with doggie massage and looking forward to trying raindrop technique at some point with my pups.

  • I am a professiol petsitter. I love the Animal Scents line and use it on my own pets and recommend them to my clients. I have found the T-Away to be helpful for pets. When I stay overnight with a client's pet, I bring my bag of about 50 favorite oils, the dogs always cluster around me curious about the smells - it's really fun to watch their reactions as I apply the oils to myself. I have also used oils to assist with outside annoyances. I diffuse them in my home all the time. I have birds, fish, cats and dogs. I wouldn't Dream of using any other brand.
