  • I love the lemon oil. My dentist is interested in understanding why this would not be harmful to the enamel on your teeth as the juice is from the lemon. Can someone comment on why this is so. He would like information to support this so he can feel safe about letting his patients know about this option. Thanks!

    • I would like to know too! I'm a dental hygienist and I've been worried about it. I have noticed that when I add lemon juice to my water my teeth get sensitive and I know that's because of the acidity. But when I add lemon oil to my water it never bothers me!!!

    • Julie, lemon essential oil is cold pressed from the rind and contains no acidic lemon juice that could damage the enamel of your teeth. It makes it a great alternative!

  • i love putting Lemon essential in my water, food and using it to clean my kitchen counters, skins and putting it in my home made dish soap.

    • You can most definitely put it in water to drink! Just do not drink out of a plastic cup because the lemon will eat away at the toxins in plastic. And I suggest only a drop or two in your glass to start. Over doing it can make your tummy a little upset if it's not used to it.

      • Ill start with one to two drops. How many glasses can I do that in? Ill start slow, but wondering what is max you should consume in day. Thanks!

        • Hi Melissa! Thanks for your question. Please follow the label directions which state to take two drops up to three times daily.
