Powered by our popular Thieves essential oil blend, Thieves Household Cleaner is perfect for having on hand to keep your house clean and free from harsh chemicals. This jack-of-all-trades comes in handy no matter the task, and we’ve got three new recipes to prove it!
Add all ingredients to a spray bottle and shake well to combine. To use, spray windows and glass surfaces liberally and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.
Combine Thieves Household Cleaner and enough baking soda to form a thick paste. Apply mixture with a clean cloth, sponge, or scrubbing brush and scour the surface thoroughly. Let sit for 15 minutes, and rinse everything clean.
Mix water and Thieves Household Cleaner in a spray bottle, shaking to combine. To use, lightly spray the spot and blot with a clean white cloth. Repeat as needed.

can I use the cleanser to clean hardwood floors?
Hi Carrie, We feel that there would probably be no effects on the hardwood floor, but we recommend doing a spot test in an inconspicuous location before cleaning the entire floor. I use it on my wood floors with the terry cloth dry mop. The recipe is adapted from my grandmother's recipe to clean her floors. It cleans great and leaves no residue.
Mix ingredients in 32 oz spray in the order given
15-18 oz Distilled Water
1/8 cup Distilled White Vinegar
2-4 Tablespoons Grapeseed Oil
1 cap Thieves Household Cleaner
5 drops YL Lemon Oil
Shake before each use. Spray a small area of floor then mop it up and repeat on the next section.

My sister has a house keeper that comes in weekly and uses only Thieves products to clean her house. This has worked out so well for her and now I'm also in the process of switching to all Thieves cleaning products. And the smell is amazing!
Any thoughts on cleaning white vinyl boats seats with Thieves Household Cleaner.
Hi Cheryl, Excellent question! Thieves® Household Cleaner may not be compatible with vinyl surfaces. If you decide to try it on the boat seats, we would suggest extra dilution and doing a spot test in an inconspicuous area.
I have been using Thieves Household Cleaner for almost a year now. I mix 2 parts Thieves, 4 parts lemon juice, 8 parts white vinegar and 10 parts water. I use it to clean pretty much everything. I try to use all natural products to clean.

I use Thieves cleaner on almost EVERY surface! However, I have recently been asked if it can be used on untreated stone floors. No seal or anything. Appreciate your help!

I have a new glass shower and there are spots starting already..I have used the Thieves with Water as a spray, and it does a good job, but still stubborn spots remain. Any suggestions? I DO NOT want to go back to harsh chemicals for cleaning! :)

I use them on my hardwoods and haven't had any issues. I usually do 1-2 capfulls of cleaner to a bucket of hot water.
