  • I'm new to YL. Household cleaner ultra-concentrated to keep away from you skin?? Is that before diluted??

    • Hi Bran, Theives® Household Cleaner is formulated for non-poures surfaces. Some of the ingredients can cause dryness especially to those with sensitive skin. This is true for before dilution and after. There for we have added this warning.

  • I use Theives Household Cleaner in my shower and it seems to be eating away at the grout. Should I be diluting it more? I really do love using no chemicals!

    • Hi Heidi, We would recommend using the General cleaner dilution. The dilution instructions are noted on the back of the product bottle. It is one part solution for each: 30 part water to 1 cap.

  • Can you use it to brighten the grout on my bathroom floor? Tired of scrubbing with a toothbrush and not seeing much of a difference.

    • Hi Cindy, If the Thieves® Household Cleaner is used according to the label directions and dilution ratios there should be no negative effects from using it on the bathroom floor. We recommend doing a spot test in an inconspicuous location before cleaning all the floor. Thanks for stopping by.

    • Hi Heather, We would not recommend using the Thieves® Household Cleaner in any manner other than its intended purpose. We advised to always follow label direction.

  • I have a question about Thieves cleaner. I am new the YL, and so far I love it! I recently used Thieves cleaner to disinfect a water cooler at work. I might have used a bit to much, but have rinsed out the system several times with at least 7 gallons of water or more. I can still smell Thieves in the water, and as I taste tested a bit of it, I can also detect a hint of it, but just barely. Should I be worried? Do you think it is safe to go ahead and drink?

    • Hi Andrea, If any residue is remaining, we anticipate it being heavily diluted and should therefore have no adverse affects. We suggest reviewing the manual or contacting the manufacturer of the water cooler for alternative cleaning solutions.

  • Just wanting to know if Thieves Household Cleaner is recommended for cleaning bamboo flooring. TIA!

    • Hi Allie, We recommend doing a spot test in an inconspicuous location before cleaning the entire floor. You may also want to contact the manufacturer for any information on the finish that may interact negatively with Thieves Household Cleaner. If the surface appears porous, we would encourage you to use another product that may be better suited to the surface. Thanks for stopping by with your question!

  • If the household cleaner was to be used in a state regulated day care center what would be the contact time? For example: The diaper changing area was cleaned with Thieves Cleaner, how long would they have to wait before changing another diaper?

  • Can the thieves glass cleaner be used on tinted windows as well? Can't seem to find anything regarding tinted windows. Thanks!

    • Hi Jessica, We suggest diluting according to the label and doing a spot test in an inconspicuous location before using the Thieves® Household Cleaner on the entire window. If the surface appears porous we would encourage you to use a different product that may be better suited to the surface. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
