Young Living Founder and Chairman of the Board D. Gary Young received the Utah Genius Award on behalf of the company at an awards luncheon honoring local inventors and trademark registrants. The Top Trademark Registrants Award signifies that Young Living registered the third most trademarks in Utah during 2015.

This designation further demonstrates Young Living’s growth in recent years, leading up to its milestone of $1 billion in annual sales in 2015. Young Living currently offers nearly 500 essential oil and oil-infused products.

Utah Genius, founded in 2009 by Rand Bateman, a local patent attorney, was designed to honor local inventors and trademark registrants. Appreciating that much of Utah’s vibrant economy has to do with the innovative nature of Utah companies, the awards honor the companies and the people behind the innovations.
