An events message from Jared Turner

We’re hard at work adapting upcoming events!

Dear Young Living Family,
When I look at my calendar, it’s hard to believe how quickly our first-ever Virtual International Grand Convention is coming up. We’ve been hard at work to make it a richly immersive event you won’t want to miss, and the time has flown by. I’ve been so deeply impressed by the hard work and creativity of the many teams clocking long days and often evenings to create an unforgettable event that delivers everything you look forward to from our conventions—education, discovery, connection, recognition, and fun memories—along with opportunity to join all the energy and excitement from your home.
Going digital with our convention during this pandemic is a profound expression of our commitment to the health and wellness of your family, the Young Living team, and our global community. There is nothing more important to us. And while the pandemic has presented challenges and tragedies, this convention proves that we’re treating these challenges as opportunities to adapt, to band together in connection and solidarity.
In that spirit, we’re expanding this virtual approach to our events beyond the convention and through the end of the year. Many other events will also go digital, with additional changes and enhancements to make them even more exciting, rewarding, and accessible for you. We will provide you with timely, in-depth details when we’ve put the finishing touches on these plans; please look to your market’s leadership for more information in the meantime. While it may be suspenseful to wait for a time when in-person events are safe and responsible again, please know that we’re not wasting any time making every event—in-person or digital—the most inspiring, memorable events possible!
We’re also adapting more than our events. During this time, we’re becoming greener and an even better employer for our incredible YL team. Though we’ve already won awards for our green initiatives and have been named one of Utah’s best places to work, we’re not stopping there. While most of our team is working from home, we’re updating our award-winning Global Headquarters with solar panels. And because social distancing can take a toll on mental health, we’re looking out for employees’ well-being with enhanced mental health services, online fitness classes, a new look at flexible work arrangements, and more.
Your wellness is more than just an initiative for us; it’s our entire mission—the reason we exist. We take our responsibility to safeguard the health of the Young Living family very seriously, and I’m grateful for your kindness and understanding during this pandemic as we’ve worked to do just that. Only with your support have we been able to help keep the global Young Living family connected, healthy, and thriving. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Yours in wellness,
Jared Turner
