Sole Hope Workshops

In Uganda, small parasitic sand flies, known as Jiggers burrow themselves into the feet and hands of adults and children, creating wounds prone to infection and serious disease. The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation has partnered with Sole Hope whose mission is to offer hope, healthier lives and freedom from foot-related diseases through education, jobs and medical relief.
This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to network and build relationships with those in your team and with other Young Living members, by getting involved and giving back in a fun, easy and meaningful way. You will be putting old denim jeans to good use by cutting patterns that are sewn into shoes in Uganda for those affected by jiggers.

Every single piece of fabric that you cut can change a child’s life. “So be moved. Be active. Be someone’s hope.”
All proceeds from the Sole Hope workshop will be donated to the Sole Hope charity.
Date: Friday 28th February
Time: 1-hour classes running from 9:00am – 2:30pm
Venue: Hydrate Bar
Cost: $20 per person

YL Kids Club

Your children will be in good hands with professional, on-site childcare and have just as much fun as you will at our 2020 Symposium.
As per previous Young Living events, we will have a Parents Room available for children up to and including the age of 3, featuring live streaming of stage events from the main plenary session, comfortable seating for feeding, a play area for toddlers and change facilities.
For children aged between 4 to 11, we have a professional childcare company, Coastal Babysitters, providing an onsite Kids Club. This company was established in 2016 by mum of 2, Orly Muscat, with a Vision of Fun, Safe and Trusted care for kids. They believe that all parents deserve time out while knowing their children are in a safe and trusted environment, all while having FUN!
We have created an action-packed kids club program, filled with adventurous activities, lots of laughs and good fun. All Coastal Babysitters staff are full of energy, warm and caring and extremely engaging with the children. They are made up of qualified school teachers, childcare teachers and mums, and are all First Aid and CPR trained and have their Blue Card.
Kids Club will be available from Friday 28th February to Sunday 1st March to coincide with the Symposium Workshops and Plenary Agenda.
Please note: children aged 15+ are welcome to attend Symposium provided they are registered and have purchased their own ticket which will need to be presented upon entry. As always, nursing infants up to the age of 3 are able to attend the main Plenary session, however toddlers and young children may be a distraction to others, so we request that you use the allocated Parents Room for feeding, changing and when your child becomes unsettled or noisy.

We understand that kids club for Symposium 2020 is more expensive than previous years. This is because we are ensuring the best possible experience for your children, including full use of the resort’s outdoor facilities such as the water park, swimming pool, jumping pillow and offsite excursions.
These activities come with the additional expense such as life guards, transportation and the recommended child to carer ratio legally required to run such programs.
Please note that Young Living have absorbed some of this cost (approximately $20 per child per day), in consideration of the cost of the program. The cost of the program will be all inclusive of the schedule of activities per day.
