History of Frankincense
Frankincense has been traded around the Middle East and Africa for more than 5,000 years.
In many parts of the world it is considered a holy anointing oil and has been used for thousands of years in religious ceremonies.

For centuries, Frankincense has been treasured in traditional practices for its powerful health and spiritual benefits, such as:
1.Supports healthy youthful looking skin
2.Supports immune function
3.Supports joint and muscle comfort
4.Aids respiratory health
5.Promotes relaxation and reduces stress
6.Enhances spiritual practices and meditation
Did you know?
Not all Frankincense is created equal!
Some types are packed with medicinal goodness, while others are best known for their lovely scent in perfumes. It all depends on the species and how it’s used!
Young Living distills Frankincense oil from the resin of Boswellia carterii trees located in northern Africa, near the Arabian Peninsula
And Sacred Frankincense from the resin of Boswellia sacra tress from Oman, the heart of Sacred Frankincense.

Gary goes where it grows

During his visit to Oman, Gary noticed a surprising truth:
While some companies claim to source Frankincense from Oman, a closer look reveals otherwise. Frankincense is not commercially harvested in Oman, nor are there any active distilleries there. Local resin brokers shared with Gary that most of the resin labeled as “Omani” actually comes from Somalia and Ethiopia, and is then shipped to England for distillation.
