Helichrysum is from the daisy family Asteraceae and is also commonly known as the “Everlasting” or “Immortelle” flower. While most Young Living Helichrysum essential oil comes from Croatia, this variety is obtained from the vibrant yellow blossoms that grow on the island of Corsica. On our Simiane-la-Rotonde farm in France, we have replicated its preferred rocky soil environment to cultivate the previously wild-crafted blossoms. After a careful harvest, the flowers are steam distilled to produce one of the world’s most sought-after essential oils. Corsican Helichrysum can be used for a variety of purposes, but it is best known for its earthy, comforting aroma.
