Mitch Seavey Takes Second in 2015 Iditarod

Lehi, Utah – March 24, 2015 - Young Living brand ambassador, Mitch Seavey, took second place in the 2015 Iditarod dog sled race beginning in Anchorage and finishing eight days later in Nome, Alaska. Mitch completed the 979 mile race in eight days, 22 hours, 22 minutes and 56 seconds; four hours behind son, Dallas, who took first. In the 43-year history of the Iditarod race, the Seaveys are the only father and son to finish in the top ten.

Mitch began mushing in 1963, has competed in 21 Iditarod races, finishing in the top 10 twelve times, taking first place twice. Congratulations to Mitch and the Seavey family!
