-Young Living renovates a vacant building to house its Member Services call center and opens up job opportunities in the area-

American Fork, UT – December 16, 2015 – Young Living Essential Oils, the world leader in essential oils, announced the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony today for its new call center located in American Fork, Utah.

The 50,000-square-foot facility will be home to the company’s nearly 500 call center employees and provides the opportunity to hire an additional 200 new employees over the next few months. The new building enables Young Living to bring its call center staff under one roof to streamline training and provide superior and timely service to its members, along with the ability to expand the employee base to nearly double the current size, if needed.

“After experiencing the tremendous growth we’ve had over the past couple of years, this move enables us to enhance service for our members and to accommodate future growth,” said Travis Ogden, Young Living Chief Operating Officer. “We are grateful to American Fork City for the opportunity to expand to a larger facility and keep it within close proximity to our headquarters in Lehi and equal commuting distance between Salt Lake and Provo.”

Young Living had numerous options for the new location, but ultimately chose to renovate the vacant building in a redevelopment area in American Fork. In an agreement between Young Living and the City of American Fork’s Utah Valley Business Park Redevelopment Area, the city gave tax increment financing to the company to help offset some infrastructure costs.

“We are pleased to have Young Living in American Fork, particularly in an area we were eager to see renovated,” said American Fork mayor, J.H. Hadfield. “Not only does the company bring new life to the area, it offers our community job opportunities and exposure for our local businesses. We welcome Young Living to our city.”
