JOB SUMMARY
Young Living is looking for a high energy, self-motivated, results driven UX/UI web developer to join our digital product team. This position plays a significant role in defining our user experience by building intuitive and elegant website and content experiences for our users. This individual has comprehensive experience in front-end web development, thrives in team settings, has meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for user experience.
Essential duties & responsibilities

Develop functional and appealing web and mobile based applications based on usability.
Provide website maintenance and enhancements.
Use a combination of markup languages to write web pages.
Write functional requirement documents and specifications.
Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines.
Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms.
Apply industry accepted accessibility.
Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface.
Willingness to take on new responsibilities and grow professionally and keeping up to date with the latest search strategies.
Stay up to date on emerging technologies and promote usability and accessibility best practices.
Develop code and applications in a team.
Work with multiple teams and applications.
Develop code and applications independently.
All other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education & experience
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, post graduate diploma, professional degree in any field but preferably in Computer Science or related field.
Preferably at least 3 years of working experience or related experience.
Working knowledge of popular content management systems and web platforms, including WordPress and Laravel.
Working knowledge of coding best practices, including bandwidth optimization and accessibility.
Basic knowledge of analytics and optimization tools such as Google Analytics, Optimize, and Tag Manager.
Ability to use front-end build tools, such as Gulp, as well as version control systems like Git.
Ability to use responsive and adaptive design tools is also a big plus.
Advance skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Beginning skills in web design tools such as: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe XD, etc. (or equivalent).
Intermediate skills in React, jQuery, PHP, XML/XSL, C#, Visual Studio, and SharePoint is a plus.
Preferred but not mandatory experience in a Direct Selling or Network Marketing environment.
Preferred but not mandatory experience working in an agile development environment.
