- Young Living members and employees rally to raise $50,000, bringing the total donation on behalf of Young Living to $100,000 to support American Red Cross relief efforts in Nepal-

LEHI, UTAH – May 14, 2015 - Young Living Essential Oils, LC, the world leader in essential oils and wellness solutions, in partnership with the American Red Cross, announced today its members and employees raised $50,000 in less than a week, bringing the combined corporate and member donation to $100,000, to support the relief efforts in Nepal.

“The generous and immediate response from our members was astounding. Young Living has always been much more than a product company, and together with our members we stand committed to helping those in need,” said Travis Ogden, Young Living Chief Operating Officer.

After the initial 7.8 magnitude earthquake devastated the country of Nepal on April 25, Young Living partnered with the American Red Cross, who was already on the ground, providing immediate support to first responders in Nepal. Young Living committed $25,000 in financial support, and initiated a campaign to provide an additional $25,000 by engaging in a matching funds campaign with its members and employees. Less than 24-hours after initiating the campaign, members and employees had already donated more than $25,000. One week later, the combined donation totals $100,000 from corporate, members and employee support.
