A natural cross of the pomelo and the sweet orange, grapefruit is derived from a cultivated tree growing to a height of 32 feet and the oil is extracted from cold expression of the fresh peel of the fruit. Apart from its use in aromatherapy, Grapefruit serves as a fragrance component in perfumes, cosmetics, and soaps, as well as a food flavoring. Grapefruit has been known to ease our hunger of immediate satisfaction and our often desperate need to feel full of foods.
