Summary

Work with senior scientists to assist with collecting, organizing, and writing technical monographs and technical research reports
Assist senior scientists with the research and development of new product concepts and reformulation of existing products
Work with other scientists to determine testing methods and specifications for new and existing products
Supply supporting technical data to help Marketing, consumers, and vendors understand the new product benefits and features before and after launch; collect data crucial for the creation of technical monographs that substantiate product claims
Support an affiliate (AIRASE) for 25+ hrs./week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Write clear and concise technical monographs, reports, and emails
Work knowledgeably and capably with Purchasing, Quality Control, Product Management, Product Registration, Legal, Executives, and Marketing
Write technical monographs, substantiate product claims, and assist in the research and development of new products and reformulating existing products
Help to establish product specifications and manufacturing instructions

Qualifications

Computer Skills

Demonstrate expertise with Microsoft products and other applicable software or applications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, physiology, botany, biochemistry, pre-medical, pre-dental, or similar required

Work Environment

Employee may work in an office setting. The individual must be able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
Employee may work in Farm environment and in colder temperatures, needing to wear warm clothing and applicable OSHA safety gear.

Safety Requirements

Employee is required to understand proper safety procedures before operating any equipment.
Employee may be required to be certified to use equipment.
Employee may be required to wear appropriate OSHA safety gear.
