Celebrate the Melissa Harvest!

The annual Melissa Harvest at our farm in St. Maries, Idaho, is almost here! Each year we gather to harvest melissa and take part in Young Living’s unique Seed to Seal® process. This event is your opportunity to participate in the harvest and witness firsthand how we ensure that our oils remain pure and potent throughout our entire process.

Event details

The Melissa Harvest will take place July 10–15. Members can reserve a spot for themselves and up to 20 members of their team.

Registration opens May 1 at 5 p.m., MT, and closes June 23 at 5 p.m., MT.

Work assignments

All duties at the harvest will be assigned on site. All requests will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Assignments will be given upon arrival at the farm.


All members 18 years or older may attend this event. Participants must be physically fit and able to lift 35 pounds, tolerate extreme temperatures, and engage in rigorous physical activities.


The cost to attend the harvest in our general housing facility is $5,000 USD for a group of up to 20.

Cost includes:

Facility rental for one week
One-day river rafting trip
One Raindrop Technique training
Members and their groups will be responsible for:
Airfare and roundtrip transfers
Food and beverage
All shopping, meal preparation, and clean-up
Cleaning the facility
Laundering any item used while at the farm

The member who reserves the facility must sign a check-in and check-out checklist upon arrival and departure and agree to a walk-through inspection by a Young Living farm employee.

In addition to the $5,000 USD rental, a $250 USD cleaning deposit is required, and $150 USD will be refunded at the end of the week after the final walk-through.

In case of cancellation, registration may be transferred to another member. However, due to the nature of this event and the expenses involved in planning for each group, no refunds will be permitted. Transfers must be made no later than June 23.

While at the St. Maries Farm, you’ll be able to take advantage of the many luxuries at the location, including camp fires at night and hot tubs infused with floral water. Additionally, attendees will stay in dorms that come with electricity, running water, bathrooms, showers, washers, and dryers.

The member who reserves the facility will be responsible for all meals and meal preparation. BBQ grills are available on site for member use, and personal snacks are welcome, but the owner must store them.

Travel arrangements

The airport nearest to the St. Maries Farm is the Spokane International Airport in Spokane, Washington. The member responsible for reserving the facility will be responsible for roundtrip transportation to and from the farm. Please email flight information for each member to jsagers@youngliving.com before June 23.

Please plan to arrive at the Spokane airport on July 10 after 3 p.m. and leave on July 15 before 12 p.m.

*There is bedding available at the farm; however, if you would like an additional pillow, please bring it. There are only enough pillows for each person to have one.
