Translation Coordinator, Bahasa Melayu

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to conduct translations for the market/s by either translating content directly or by coordinating outsourced services and ensuring that all translations are consistent in quality and in the brand voice of Young Living. May be involved in large global projects and will report to the Global Marketing team. May occasionally develop relevant content as per the work requirements.
Essential duties & responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Utilizing translation management software to manage the flow of translation projects, including acceptance, assignment, reviews, timelines, priorities, and project delivery.
Translating content in an authoritative position that reflects the global brand voice of Young Living, accounts for local and regional language nuances, and a developing knowledge of industry terminology.
Coordinating any outsourced needs above the working bandwidth, including vetting outsourced agencies or personnel, managing project flow, reviewing for continuity and quality, and managing any resulting invoicing needs.
Auditing of existing content for quality and consistency.
Supporting tasks for marketing team.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education & experience
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, or any field equivalent.
Preferably 3-4 years of working experience in relevant translation work experience.
Committed team player.
Possess good oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to translate the expected languages fluently with a working knowledge that is able to expand to new and/or specialized terminology.
Proficient communication and interpersonal skills (read, write and spoken) in English and Bahasa Melayu.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite programs.
A relevant cultural understanding is preferred.
Experience with translation management software.
Ability to meet deadlines, and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attentive to detail and organized
Able to multitask and manage time and priorities effectively.
