We are excited to announce that our 2018 European Convention, Freedom will be taking place in the beautiful city of Prague on the 7th–9th September.

The 2018 European Convention gives you the opportunity to recognise your achievements, share experiences, strengthen your knowledge and celebrate being part of a passionate and ever-growing community. We want to encourage our members to live a life with more connection, more wellbeing and more freedom—free your mind, body and spirit and join us for this unforgettable experience.

On Saturday 8th September, we will also be hosting a Gala Dinner—optional, and tickets for the Gala Dinner are available separately from your main Convention ticket. Priced at €57, spaces for the Gala Dinner are limited and so be sure to book today if you would like to attend.

General sessions will begin on the 8th September and end on the 9th September at 5:30pm.

Peter Foss
President, Young Living Europe (EMEA)

European by birth and in heart, Peter is loving being back in Europe working with a higher purpose at Young Living Europe. Peter grew up in Denmark and studied at the University of Odense, Denmark, where he received an MBA with an emphasis in sales and marketing. Peter has global network marketing experience, thanks to his positions as Executive Director of International at USANA, Sr. VP of International at Melaleuca and Area President at Max international.

Peter worked for 7 years with Stephen Covey as a leadership consultant for clients such as General Motors, 3M, Papa John’s Pizza, and Ford – and has been a professor teaching executive MBA students entrepreneurship, strategy and leadership at three universities.

Peter’s favorite Young Living products are Frankincense essential oil and NingXia Red. Peter is married and has 4 children and 9 grandchildren.

Ben Riley
Ben Riley
Ben Riley joined Young Living in June 2016 when he stepped in as Senior Director of Global Sales. Since that time, he has held the roles of Regional President of North America and most recently, Chief Sales Officer.
Ben has earned an MBA from Duke University and has over 15 years of experience in network marketing and fast-moving consumer goods. His previous positions include Vice President of Leadership at Cloudberry Nutritionals and Vice President of Sales at Avon.

Ben also worked as an expatriate in Taiwan and South Korea and speaks fluent Korean and passable Mandarin. In total, he has spent more than 10 years building businesses internationally and loves understanding and learning from other cultures and people.
Ben’s true beginnings with Young Living started in 1998, when he worked at a Young Living warehouse while attending college. He describes the feeling of being part of the Young Living family as similar to the feeling of coming home. Now, he is particularly passionate about working for the best personal empowerment vehicle he has ever been a part of.

Ben is married with three children, two girls and one boy, and he enjoys spending time with them, especially while hiking and camping. His personal interests include golf, road and mountain cycling, reading, and traveling. Ben’s favorite Young Living products rotate regularly, but his current go-to is Sacred Sandalwood.

R. Michael Buch, PhD
Dr Buch was appointed as Young Living’s first-ever Chief of Science Officer in 2016. Since then he has moved into the role of Vice President of Research & Development and Product Management.
Dr. Buch’s work includes scientific research and development on new and established products, new applications and claims, and product strategy and stewardship.

Dr. Buch brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. He earned a BA in chemistry from Franklin and Marshall College and MS and PhD degrees in analytical chemistry from the University of Delaware. Dr. Buch has led global organizations at some of the world’s leading companies, and his success has resulted in more than a dozen patents in the health care field, several books, and a number of published articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is personally responsible for developing health care products with annual sales of nearly $3 billion, and his products have been marketed in more than 100 countries. Dr. Buch is also a member of several prestigious associations, including the Institute on Science for Global Policy and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Dr. Buch enjoys fresh and saltwater fishing and has a passion for photography. He loves the crisp, outdoorsy scent of Young Living’s R.C.™ , and he often diffuses it during the winter months to add a fresh scent to the air.

Michael Glauser
Michael Glauser
Michael Glauser is an entrepreneur, business consultant, and university professor. He has built successful companies in the retail, wholesale, and consulting industries and has worked with hundreds of startup ventures and large corporations.
Michael is currently the Executive Director of the Jeffrey D. Clark Center for Entrepreneurship in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. He is also the co-founder and CEO of My New Enterprise, an online training, and development company.

Michael’s great passion is helping people create successful companies, gain financial freedom, and live the life of their dreams.

Michael recently went on an epic journey where he rode his bicycle 4000 miles across America to interview 100 remarkable entrepreneurs who have merged their livelihood and lifestyle doing what they love.

Dr Mihaela Stroe, PhD
Dr. Mihaela Stroe is a sociologist, expert in nonverbal intelligence, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, wife and mother.

Dr Stroe spends most of her time in Romania between Bucharest and Sibiu but the results of her work has touched many people all over the world. She has been an entrepreneur for over 15 years and specialises in the development of non-verbal intelligence at international level.

Besides her doctorate in Sociology, Dr Stroe also holds a Master’s in Communication and Public Opinion which she obtained from the University of Bucharest and the University of Trieste.

Since 2003, Dr Stroe has collaborated with former FBI agent and founder of the FBI Behavioral Analysis, Joe Navarro. He is internationally recognised for his work and is currently an Emeritus Professor at the FBI Academy at the University of Tampa, Florida. Dr Stroe has collaborated with Joe on several projects and is considered the first Romanian to be personally trained by him in behavioral analysis using FBI techniques.
Dr Stroe has published several books including "In Harmony with Me" and has created educational programs to "educate, inspire and motivate people who want to be first in their lives."

Rank Advancement Policy 2018

To be recognised at Convention a member must rank advance to Silver or above between the 1st July 2017 – 30th June 2018.

Only those who attend Convention will be recognised.

Terms and Conditions for Rank Advancement

1.When you are registering for Convention you will need to state your full name, member ID and rank. If you are purchasing a ticket for someone else, you will need to state their full name, member ID and rank.

2.If you would like to purchase a ticket from someone who is cancelling their registration you or the current ticket holder will need to fill out the transfer request form. A €25 fee will be required at the time of transfer. Please note: any further money transactions will have to occur between you and the seller of the ticket.
No Transfers will be accepted after 30 days prior to event – 7th August 2018.

For Recognition purposes, if you are purchasing more than one ticket at a time, please ensure you include the details of each person.

Cancellation of an event by Young Living (Europe) Limited

Young Living (Europe) Limited (YL) is committed to offering high quality events and will always aim to run events once tickets sales started. Occasionally circumstances will arise which result in the need to cancel an event. When this is the case YL will take active and positive steps to inform you as soon as possible by email. YL reserves the right to modify or cancel any event if unforeseen circumstances arise but we will do our utmost to avoid doing so.
In case YL cancels an event that you have paid to attend, we will offer you a full refund (or a credit transfer for a future event).
No refunds will be issued after 30 days prior to the event – 7th August 2018.
Please note: If the event is cancelled or changed, the event organisers are not liable to give refunds for any travel or accommodation costs you may have incurred.

Ticket Transfers

If you are no longer able to attend an event you can you transfer your ticket. To transfer a ticket, please email and provide your full name and member ID as well as the name, member ID and email address of the person to whom you’d like to transfer the ticket.

Young Living is a family focused company; therefore, we welcome children to come to a variety of our Events. However, we do ask that you are mindful that some presentations and activities may not be suitable and young children may cause distraction.

Children under 2 years old may attend free of charge

Children between the ages of 2-12 may attend the Event at 50% of the cost of an adult ticket.

Children over the age of 12 will require an adult ticket.
