FAQ
Q. How does Elite Express work with Young Living’s traditional recognition program?
A. Elite Express is a voluntary program that offers additional incentives to elite performers building a business. Participation is not expected or required. Any member who achieves a rank outside of the Elite Express timelines will still be congratulated and recognized through our traditional recognition program; the only difference is that he or she will not receive the additional Elite Express rewards.
Q. If I don’t participate in Elite Express, is there any penalty?
A. No. Participation in Elite Express is an added incentive and is not required to benefit from the full potential of the Young Living Compensation Plan.
Q. When does my qualification period start?
A. The qualification period(s) begin the month following the first-time achievement of any prequalifying rank for the given reward tier. For example, the Executive in 2 (E2) qualification period begins the month after a member reaches Senior Star for the first time. So, if a member achieves Senior Star in January, the qualification period for E2 will start in February, and he or she will need to achieve Executive before the end of March.
Q. Who can participate in the program?
A. All members from Senior Star to Platinum ranks can participate in the program.
Q. Can members still qualify for the original Elite Express program?
A. Any members who achieved Star, Senior Star, Silver, or Gold rank on or before March 31, 2018, will be grandfathered into the original Elite Express program for the successive rank. These members can achieve the rewards associated with the original timeline for their next rank if all those qualifications are met.


For example, a member who achieved Star or Senior Star on or before March 31, 2018, would be eligible for the original Executive in 3 timeline and rewards. He or she would then would participate in the new Elite Express program for all other rank advancements.

Q. When do I receive my award for qualification?
A. Express Reward points and Essential Reward points will be rewarded approximately 5–6 days from the commission date after qualification confirmation. Confirmation occurs around the 20th of the month following qualification.
Q. Do I have to maintain my prequalifying rank during the qualification period like the previous Si6 program?
A. Yes. To qualify for the reward at each Elite Express level, members must maintain their prequalifying rank.
Q. What if I fall below my prequalifying rank for only one month of the qualification period?
A. Prequalifying ranks at each reward level must be maintained every month of the qualification period. If the participating member falls below the pre-qualification rank any given month of the qualification period, that member will no longer be eligible for the reward of the specific Elite Express rank. However, the member can still participate in other reward tracks. For example, if a member misses qualification for Silver in 4, he or she can still participate in and qualify for Gold in 8, Platinum in 8, and Diamond in 8.
Q. Will I be taxed on the rewards?
A. Yes. The value of the reward(s) received will be included in the 1099 from Young Living for the year the prizes were received. All product rewards will be valued at the wholesale amount, and any non-product rewards will be valued at the purchase price to Young Living.
Q. What if I already rank as a Platinum or higher?
A. If you have been a Platinum for more than eight months or are a higher rank, you are not eligible to participate in Elite Express; however, promoting this program within your team can have a positive impact on your team’s growth and on the success of your organization.
Q. Are the prizes the same for all global markets?
A. Merchandise prizes will be the same in all markets; however, some product rewards will be unique depending on the market. All unique product rewards will have a comparable value.
Q. What are Express Reward points?
A. Express Rewards points are earned at each level of the Elite Express program. They are redeemable on the Young Living Rewards site for various products. Express Reward points expire 36 months after a member receives their first points.
Q. What is the Young Living Rewards site?
The Young Living Reward site is a third-party site where members can redeem points for various retail items. Items include electronics, home goods, fashion, gift cards, and many more options. It will appear on a member’s Virtual Office once they have qualified for a rank in Elite Express.
