The annual Winter Harvest at our Highland Flats, Idaho, tree farm is quickly approaching! Each year, distributors from around the world come together to harvest balsam fir, blue spruce, and other trees as part of Young Living’s unique Seed to Seal® process. Join us and experience the joyful hard work and commitment that goes into making Young Living the world leader in essential oils!

Event Details

The harvest takes place over the course of eight six-day periods. Attendees may join us for any or all of these periods, as desired.

Week 1: January 6–January 11

Week 2: January 13–January 18

Week 3: January 20–January 25

Week 4: January 27–February 1

Week 5: February 3–February 8

Week 6: February 10–February 15

Week 7: February 17–February 22

Week 8: February 24–March 1

Cost and Registration

The cost to attend the harvest is USD $150 per person per week in our general housing or USD $225 per week for a two-person room. In order to reserve your space, click here.
In case of cancellation, registration may be transferred to another person. However, due to the nature of this event and the expenses involved in planning for each attendee, no refunds will be permitted. Registrations must be transferred before December 30, 2013.

Accommodations and Meals

While at the Highland Flats farm, attendees may stay in one of our dorm housing units. The building complex has electricity and running water and includes bathrooms, showers, washers, and dryers.

Young Living will provide three meals per day. Fruit, water, and some snacks will also be available throughout the day. Personal snacks are welcome but must be stored by the owner.

Travel Arrangements

The airport nearest the Highland Flats farm is the Spokane International Airport in Spokane, Washington. Young Living will provide a complimentary shuttle service from that airport to the farm that departs at 4 p.m. on the first day of each event, so please arrange your flight plans accordingly and ensure that you arrive no later than 3 p.m. For example, if you plan to attend the first week of harvest, from January 6–11, you should arrive at the airport in Spokane on January 5 before 3 p.m. The shuttle will depart from the Ramada Spokane Airport, and attendees should meet there.

After the event is over, the shuttle will return attendees to the airport, departing from the farm at 9 a.m. on Sunday. Flights should be scheduled to depart after 12 p.m. to ensure ample travel time to the airport. For example, if you attend the first week of harvest, from January 6–11, the shuttle will depart from the farm at 9 a.m. on January 12, and your flight should be scheduled to depart after 12 p.m. Due to limited space in the farm housing, attendees are required to leave on Sunday. If your flight does not leave until Monday, you will be required to find a hotel in Spokane for Sunday night.

If you miss the shuttle for any reason, you will need to make and pay for your own travel arrangements. If you plan to lodge elsewhere, you will be responsible for travel to and from the farm.

Work Assignments

All duties at the harvest will be assigned on site. In order to request a specific duty, please email mking@youngliving.com and the request will be taken into consideration. All requests will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and assignments will be given upon arrival at the farm.

Qualifications

All distributors 18 years or older may attend this event. Participants must be physically fit and able to lift 35 pounds, tolerate extreme temperatures, and engage in rigorous physical activities.
