Also called kinetic sand, this colorful, other-worldly moldable sand is the sensory activity parents love just as much as preschoolers. Press your homemade moon sand into any shape and size for endless hours of play!<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><h2><span style=\"color: #7a55b2\">How do you make homemade moon sand?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #7a55b2\">Ingredients<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a02 \u00bd cups fine sand<\/li>\n<li>\u00a01 \u00bd cups cornstarch<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00bd cups coconut oil<\/li>\n<li>Natural food coloring (optional)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a05\u20138 drops <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youngliving.com\/us\/en\/product\/kidscents-sniffleease\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KidScents\u00ae SnifflEase\u2122<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #7a55b2\"><strong>YL tip:<\/strong><\/span> Use any fine sand you can find at a craft store. Customize plain sand with food coloring or try pre-dyed sand.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><h3><span style=\"color: #7a55b2\">Instructions:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">1. Add sand and cornstarch to a bowl and sift thoroughly until they are combined.<br \/>\n2. Add food coloring drops and mix until color is incorporated.<br \/>\n3. Add in oil gradually, stirring until the mixture forms a dense sand. No coconut oil lying around? Sub in baby oil or vegetable oil instead.<br \/>\n4. Get your hands in the mixture and start to knead and mold.<br \/>\n5. Add drops of essential oil and mix until combined.<br \/>\n6.
