It comes from a tree.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Just in case the \u201cbark\u201d part of the name didn\u2019t give it away, all cinnamon\u2014not just our oil\u2014comes from the bark of a tree! Cinnamon trees are in the genus <em>Cinnamomum<\/em>. Our Cinnamon Bark oil comes from <em>Cinnamomun zeylanicum<\/em>, a tropical evergreen native to Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #954a33\">2.
