Is it okay to blend essential oils in plastic blender (ninja)?

    • Young Living

Hello Camille, Using essential oils and essential oil products safely in conjunction with plastic containers depends highly on the type of plastic, the concentration of essential oils, and the amount of time the oils are stored in the container or the amount of time the essential oils come in contact with the plastic parts. We feel that it is better to avoid adding essential oils to plastic contains whenever possible. We recommend immediately pouring the liquid in a glass container and cleaning the plastic parts. You may also add the oils after blending if you are concerned. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Would like to try it, sound good

Where can I get the oils from?

  • Heather

The description says “combination of orange and vanilla” however, there is no vanilla listed in the ingredients. How much should be used?

    • Hi Heather,

To add some vanilla flavor to the smoothie, you can use vanilla Greek yogurt instead of plain. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Charito

what is one scoop of Slique Shake? is that one pouch?

    • Young Living

Hi Charito, We recommend using one pouch of the Slique® Shake for the Citrus Sunshine Smoothie. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
