Product Spotlight: Slique™ Bars

Young Living’s Slique™ product line is formulated with unique, natural ingredients and is designed to support individual weight-management goals.* Slique Bars, the newest addition to this line, are a perfect snack option between or before meals to help manage satiety.

So, how do they work? While developing the bars, we focused on three key components: potato skin extract, fiber, and nutrition.

Potato skin extract contains a special protein that increases your body’s release of cholecystokinin (CCK). The body uses CCK to signal to your brain that food has been eaten, promoting feelings of fullness sooner and for longer periods of time, thereby managing hunger. Unlike so-called “fat burners” found on the market today, this all-natural ingredient does not stimulate metabolism, cause jitters, or have other side effects generally associated with commonly used weight-management ingredients.

Fiber found in chicory root inulin is insoluble, meaning it is not digested or absorbed in the digestive tract. This bulk material takes up space, helping you feel full and avoid overeating.

    Due to a history of estrogen-positive breast cancer, I have been cautioned NOT to eat soy-based products. Please tell me if any of the Slique products contain soy. Thanks.

    I eat a Slique Bar almost every day as part of my lunch. I take a packet of the Slim Caps, drink the water as directed, and then either begin my lunch with either a Balance Complete shake (with Slique Essence) or the Slique Bar. Within the next hour or so, I eat/drink the other. I also eat either a veggie or a fruit: lots of celery sticks, a small Honey Crisp apple, or a baked sweet potato. Slique Bars have been an important part of my losing 29 pounds since January 7 and I absolutely love them! They help solve the problem of my not liking to take the time to prepare a lunch. If I have errands to complete in the afternoon, I’ll start with the Balance Complete and take the Slique Bar with me, If I’m home for the afternoon, I’ll start with the Slique Bar.

    I was a bit skeptical on how these would taste. I have been eating bars similar to this for many years and the only real good ones maiden with sugar and other “poison” but these taste amazing!! The flavor alone, I could polish off a box but they do help you feel satiated. If you haven’t tried them and have been thinking about it, you should just do it!
