We love lavender at our house!

I have two stories posted of lavender on my page! One of allergy eye relief and on for releif of menstrual cramps.

We also use it for almost all boo-boos, to relax for bed-time….. It is so awesome!

Michele La Rue is not alone. The new shampoo is drying and I miss the Lavender. I am only neutral on the Copaiba/vanilla. I do not like the vanilla. I respect the addition of Copaiba. I miss the Rosewood shampoo.
Most YL facial products are harsh on my skin so I sent them back and invested in Shiseido. Always gentle and effective. Teatree, Cinnamon, Clove and Mint are too strong for facial skin.

Lavender Bath and Shower Gel is my lifesaver in the bathroom. I love it’s soothing, calming, cleansing and moisturizing effects. Lavender foaming hand soap is luxurious and we use it at the bathroom sink everyday. The top of my lavender list is of course Lavender Essential Oil. I carry it in my purse for unexpected emergencies of any kind. It is a great adddition to my freshly squeezed lemonade, mmmm. And I use it every night on my feet and face right before bed. Perfect prelude to a peaceful night’s sleep.

Young Living’s Lavender essential oil is one of my favorite oils! (It’s too hard to pick just one favorite!) I love diffusing the Lavender for allergies, calming, and a better night’s sleep. The Lavender hand & body lotion is the greatest! A small amount goes a long way, and it smells absolutely divine. I also enjoy using both the Lavender foaming hand soap and the Lavender-Rosewood bar soap. We use the LavaDerm anytime we have a burn, especially sunburns.

I loved the Lavender Volume Shampoo. With nearly 3 feet of hair, I have quite a testing area for both shampoo and conditioner. I used to share with people how wonderful it made my hair feel, and smell. With just a scant amount needed, it was actually very economical as well. I have to admit I have been very disappointed with the new Lavender Mint shampoo. The mint seems to overwhelm the Lavender scent, and it doesn’t seem to leave my hair as nice as the ‘old’ Lavender shampoo. It also seems to require a greater amount of shampoo to try to get the job done, so it doesn’t seem quite as economical anymore. I have also noticed that if I get any in my eyes when rinsing, that my eyes burn. Coincidentally, my teenager just came by after washing his hair and said, “That new Copaiba Vanilla isn’t too bad, but I don’t care for the new Lavender shampoo. The mint is too strong, and it stings if you get any in your eyes.” Guess it’s not just me. I think it’s obvious I’m not just a negative Nelly – as I LOVE Young Living’s products, and especially their Lavender line. But is there any way we can get back the Lavender Volume Shampoo?!
