I’ve been told, and read alot about thieves oil and cleaning non-porous treasures where it regards mold. Our home is loaded. Most can’t be saved. But some treasures i have to attempt saving. Most possesions is not worth health or happiness.will the thieves oil clean non- porous items?? That was my impression.

I am looking for an alternative cleaning product other than bleach for killing the C Diff bacterium. I was told that thieves kills C Diff. Obviously I can’t take any chances with such a highly contagious, easily spread and sometimes deadly disease. Does Thieves really kill C Diff?

How many drops a day would you suggest to use
Hi Joanne! It depends on what you’re using it for. If you’re planning on ingesting Thieves Vitality, it’s whatever tastes good to you. I am new to Young living and while I do have someone I buy it from, I am interested in the questions above regarding Thieves being used to consume. I see where it can be used in casuals but it seems unclear about adding to tea or water if it isn’t the Vitality. Is that correct? The one I have purchased is therapeutic grade.

I added some to coconut oil – put in a small glass bottle in my purse. Instant sanitizer!
My two friends and I used it when we got fever blisters. At first symptom (usually an itchy, tingling feeling) we applied Thieves and it stopped it in its tracks. Amazing stuff! No lip swelling or blisters if you catch it early. Everything else I used including prescriptions did not stop it early enough to halt the blisters and 7 days of healing. Thieves stopped it in 24 hours.
I love Thieves. However, I put just a little on the end of a Q-tip and placed it in my mouth to clean my teeth, mouth and breath. I noticed the side of my lip burning. I removed the Q-tip quickly. But, not fast enough to prevent the Thieves from burning and blistering the side of my mouth. I would be very careful about using Thieves on the corner of your mouth to heal fever blisters. Myrrh has been healing the chemical reaction burn for me. I will stick to using Thieves for some of the other suggestion, though. I LOVE IT.
Did you dilute oil before applying to lip?
I had a similar experience with applying it to my finger then my lip, and it stopped the blister from forming. I have yet to see anything else work as well.
I’m using it now to help my sore throat by putting a few drops in my water bottle and I use it to clean floors, tubs, counter tops and more! I love it!
