Getting to Know the Essential Oils Safety Guide

3 November 12, 2014 - Archive

Young Living ThievesHave you ever had a question about the best, safest way to use an essential oil? You’re not alone! Young Living Founder and CEO D. Gary Young has heard member questions; and following the 2014 International Grand Convention, he began working on a comprehensive, easy-to-understand guide for using essential oils correctly.

Teaming up with Young Living Director of Global Education and Health Sciences Dr. Lindsey Elmore and other product experts on the Young Living team, Gary has created a helpful guide that will ensure you are getting the most out of your essential oils! This helpful guide will provide questions to answers like “What is a carrier oil and why should I use it?” and “What if I experience skin discomfort or irritation?” and many others. This guide is an excellent tool for member education and can also help when sharing essential oils effectively!

It’s great that it lists which oils to use for say arthritis, but I need to know how many drops, especially if I’m diluting it…recipes I guess you’d call them. Where can I find this information, as I seem to be over-using my oils when I understand I can get away with fewer drops.

Are the EOs you listed in the Guide (in your answer to the question about Children’s safety) the ONLY ones you recommend for use in children? What would be especially helpful would be a list of ones to avoid using on or around children. Thank you.

I purchased a premium starter kit and would like the helpful guide. Thank you!
