Expanding the Use of Stress Away

2 Posted by - January 17, 2013 - Archive

The Young Living product development team is excited to announce that the proprietary blend of Stress Away™ is now available in a 15-ml bottle. Why, you ask? Because the therapeutic benefits in Stress Away expand beyond its traditional use of topical application.

With the new 15-ml bottle, the rigors of daily activities can be soothed with the unique, stress-relieving combination of pure, therapeutic-grade lime and vanilla essential oils through your diffuser or internal consumption as a dietary supplement. These new options with Stress Away allow the constituents in these oils—along with the benefits of lavender and copaiba—to reduce mental rigidity and restore mental balance.

So the next time you’re hosting a dinner party or meeting, diffuse Stress Away to calm your nerves or add a drop or two into water or a clear vegetable capsule and drink it to calm your anxiety.

The traditional application of Stress Away to your wrists or the back of your neck is still an effective way to ease anxiety. Whatever the situation may be, this natural solution is created to combat the normal stresses that creep into everyday life.

The proprietary blend of Stress Away includes:

Copaiba (Copaifera reticulata)—Copaiba is a powerful essential oil from South America that has traditionally been used internally to aid digestion* and support the body’s natural response to injury or irritation.*

Lime (Citrus aurantifolia)—Lime essential oil has an invigorating and stimulating effect and is believed to be native of eastern Malaysia. The pleasant citrus aroma of lime may help mental clarity and encourage creativity. When applied to the skin, lime oil may also support healthy skin.

Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica)—Cedarwood has a warm, balsamic, woody aroma. It is relaxing and soothing when used for massage and has long been used as a beneficial ingredient in cosmetic preparations for oily skin.

Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia)—This variety of vanilla is a species of the vanilla orchid that is native to Mexico and is one of the primary sources for vanilla flavoring, due to its high vanillin content.

Ocotea (Ocotea quixos)—Extracted from an Ecuadorian tree, ocotea has the highest level of alpha humulene of any Young Living essential oil, which is a compound that helps aid the body’s natural response to irritation and injury.* Ocotea also has natural cleansing and purifying properties.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)—Lavender has a fresh, sweet, floral, herbaceous aroma that is soothing and refreshing. Because it is the most versatile of all essential oils, no home should be without it. Lavender is also an adaptogen and can assist the body when adapting to stress or imbalances.

Comment and share your experiences with Stress Away or your thoughts on the new 15-ml bottle by Friday for the opportunity to win one of two bottles of Stress Away essential oil blend!

So it is safe to use the smaller version as a roll-on or just topically using your fingers?

I love Stress Away as a roll-on and am pleasantly surprise that I like the scent of vanilla. Talking on the phone all day can be stressful and tiring but, Stress Away is wonderful blend to put me back on track and to keep the stress out of my voice while talking. Thank you Young Living for yet another wonderful healing gift!

I started using YL essential oils last July because of extreme back and hip pain which caused me to use crutches. All the medical xrays and blood work revealed nothing about my condition. After spending hundreds of dollars on physical therapy and still little relief, I turned to the oils suggested by a friend, now considered my little “angel”. Who would have guessed that these oils I started taking for pain would actually change the life of my entire family!

After a compass scan, I discovered that stress is causing much of my pain. After attending many classes and corporate events, I have learned how crucial the emotions are in your overall health. I bought a pain relief kit at a YL corporate event and shared one with my mother, who also suffers from back pain. We began using stress away and it turned out to be my favorite oil and new perfume.

Anxiety is something my son deals with on a daily basis and when he discovered Young Living his life changed as well. My son has ADHD and trichotillomania, which is a disorder where you pull out your hair. My son’s teachers encourage him to use the oils to fight his anxiety and lower his stress level. He now falls asleep by using RutaVaLa and Stress Away after four years of needing medication at night. He often diffuses Peace and Calming, so we’re so excited that he can now diffuse Stress Away!

My favorite thing about this scent is that the smell is natural and not too strong, yet it works so powerfully. Max calls these oils “miracles in a bottle” and knows what a difference they have made in his life. Once he got invited to a sleepover birthday party at the last minute and told me that he had to go home and get his oils if he was going to stay! Max has his hair back now, but I hope by diffusing Stress Away, it can help him grow back his eyelashes and eyebrows for good. Here’s to more abundant health and future wellness with the BEST new oil by Young Living!!

A friend gave me this for Christmas this year and I have been using it ever since. The holidays have been grueling to me since losing my teenaged son 7 yrs ago. So I decided to give it a try, I use the convenient roll on 2-3 times a day and take a moment to breathe it in and relax. It really has worked wonders. I am new to the young living community but am loving everything! Thank you.

Great for severe anxiety and actually good for TMJ as well, just rub it along the jaw line. This is my favorite oil it’s amazing!

  • Juvie ConJorgie January 20, 2013 - 7:43 pm Reply

I can’t wait to try this. One question, Cedarwood is in the ingredients. Mountain Cedar is my main allergen, although not so much a problem since we started using Thieves, Frankincense and RC! Is Juniperus ashei in the mix?

    • Juvie ConJorgie January 20, 2013 - 7:46 pm Reply

or is Cedrus atlantica similar to it to be concerned?

    • Cindy Keller January 24, 2013 - 8:11 am Reply

just curious if you are allergic to the entire tree or just pollen? Personally i have many allergies including most evergreen tree pollen,…but no problem yet with any of these magnificent oils, including cedarwood :)

I have a faulty Stress Away Roll On, which I keep in my pocket. When feeling a little tense, I’ll carefully apply a swipe to my wrists, inahale and enjoy. About 30 mins after doing so, I head into a local coffee shop and found my place in queue. I was in 5th or 6th place, when I over heard the lady at the cash ask, “Who’s wearing Coppertone?” She seemed shocked and angry, and no one said a thing. She kept muttering that it’s her favourite smell and she couldn’t understand why in the middle of winter, she could smell it. When I got closer to the cash it suddenly hit me, “It’s me!” Actually, it was the Stress Away. We had a great conversation, I applied some to her wrists and it was like reuniting a lost love! The roll on is great, convenient and easy to show and share others, but I cannot tell you how excited I was to learn Stress Away now comes in a 15 ml format. I’ll be diffusing this in my Aria to keep it feeling warm and tropical indoors during the coldest days of our winter, here in Canada. Thank you Young Living!

Thanks so much for making the NEW +Size bottle. I am going in for surgery next Wednesday and will be using Stress Away until I go in…
If anyone can recommend an oil or blend for a speedy recovery please let me know…
    Thanks so much…

Not sure what the type of surgery it is, but my husband had great results with frankincense & Idaho blue spruce for general healing, helichrysum & panaway for pain, lavender & sandalwood for incisions, geranium to minimize bleeding, Tangerine for swelling from lack of mobility, and also any of the raindrop oils. Praying a good recovery for you!

  • Nan Martin January 18, 2013 - 6:39 am Reply

Awesome! Great Oil! We could really use bottles of all the roll-ons especially the deep relief-we all go through the roll-on in about 2 weeks. Working with the horses it would be helpful to have bigger bottles of Tranquil, Breathe Again and Deep Relief (for Raindrop) as well. Thank you for considering it!

I used Stress Away during a very stressful month for me – my grandfather had surgery, my mom moved far away, my husband got a new job, I was over 36 weeks pregnant, I helped my mom move & watched my late stage alzheimers grandma for over a week (watching her means I got very little sleep). I used Stress Away and it was a life saver!

Stress Away is the bomb of all essential oils. It’s the only one that gets rid of my migraines. Oh and not just mine but about 10 other ladies I work with too that suffer from headache/migraine. My roll-on has made it around the office and some have even bought so….oh, it would be awesome to get a bottle to diffuse in the office or at least at my desk so ever has a place to come to smell, relax and get rid of the tension. Almost forgot….my husband love the stuff tooo….SHHH don’t say anything, but it gets rid of his headaches too….stress away is AWESOME.
