Essential Oil Introductions

1 July 15, 2011 - Archive

I’m excited to join the Young Living family as one of the new product marketing managers. Even though I’ve only been with the company a short time, my family and I have had some amazing experiences with essential oils. I want to share with you a few that I hope you’ll find useful.

To start off, I have an amazing wife and together we claim three rambunctious children ranging in age from 5 to 1, with another expected in November.  We recently attended a family reunion, camping in the northern part of Utah (by the way, for those of you with three small children and one pregnant wife, I suggest you avoid camping or travel in general). My plan was to test some of the various uses I had heard about for the oils. My camping experiences included: burning my hand on the Dutch oven, a minor sunburn, mosquito attacks, bug bites, the overpowering smell of campfire, and attempting to clean pans coated with burned food. Luckily my Young Living coworkers had given me some advice about using the oils that came in quite handy:

After a little trial and error, here is an overview of my experience:

By the end of the trip I was no longer a novice and my family members were asking where my essential oil was. I’m sure this is some most of you experience on a regular basis!

I am excited for future introductions to Young Living’s amazing products. I hope you’ll leave a comment and share what your “introduction” experience with essential oils was. I’m sure there is a lot we can learn from each other’s experiences.

I was eager to purchase oils the first time which would help with sinus infections & bad breath. In my first shipment I purchase the nebulizer-diffuser with metal base. I used RC, Melrose & Peppermint in the diffuser; adding Thieves & Thyme essential oils. I’m rid of sinus infections & sinus headaches. Thieves products helped in fighting the bad breath.

Hi, Ryan. Thanks bunches for sharing your experiences. Look forward to hearing more :). Welcome and all the best

A couple of years ago I fell off my tryke (actually I catapulted over the handle bars). I cracked by bike helmet, broke my nose, etc. As soon as I could make my way home, fortunately I was less than a mile away, I dowsed my face with Trauma Life, took about 18 sulfurzymes in groups of 6 over the next 6 hours. I also applied Panaway and drank extra NingXia Red to which I added extra citrus oils. I had a very light mauve coloring on my eyelids and only slight swelling the next day. A day later, not one person I worked with had any idea that I had taken such a tumble slightly less than 48 hours previously. Love these YL oils and supplements!!!

The oils have been nothing but a miracle for me during my pregnancy! It has taken large hurts away and made my quality of life excellent. I look forward to continue using them with baby and in our household!
